Hi there, i have a 2005 Acura MDX and the VTM Light is staying ON all the time... what are the possible things that can be bad? is it possible to diagnose it easily?

Are you still under warranty? Have you heard any grinding noises or any transmission issues?

I would take it do the dealer to be safe.

go to an acura dealer asap, that light could vary from a rear differential oil change to rear drivetrain damage.

I had the same problem...VTM light was coming on but only it was intermittantly (sp?), anyways it turned out to be the sensor which was $250 to replace at the dealership, yuck!
