How do you remove the center console in a 2004 MDX? I am trying to access the rear fan motor assembly.

 

It's not difficult.. only a few screws keeping it in place. I'll try to post a scan. I don't believe there is a 'rear fan motor assy', I'm guessing you're talking about the rear control assy.

 

You don't have to remove the center console to remove the rear blower motor. Remove the right side cover from the center console ( no screws, just pull it off ). You can get the blower out with a 1/4 drive ratchet, long extention, and 8mm swivel socket. About a 15 min job.
