2004 Acura MDX Power Window Issues
I'm hoping there may be someone here who could help with this problem: My '04 MDX driver's window switches stopped working. From the driver's seat I can't control any of the windows, including my own. All the other windows work from their own switches, and I can still "lock" the other window. Also, the power mirror control works fine. Found a master power window switch on ebay, bought and replaced it but the window switches still don't work. Checked the fuses, they're all ok. So, I know its not the switches.... Could it be the regulator? I was thinking that if it was the regulator I would still be able to control the other windows, just not mine. Am I wrong? Same thought with it possibly being the motor... If it was the motor wouldn't I still be able to control the other windows? HELP! And thank you in advance.
Was there anything that spilled onto the control? Or maybe some sort of damage to the door? Only thing I can think of is that the harness or some wire was damaged somehow. Since the windows work with their own controls, it's not the actuators/regulators or fuse. My guess would be a loose ground wire
