18' Rims on MDX 2006 Impressions

Hi everyone I Just signed it to this forum, so bear with me for a sec.

Yesterday I replaced the 17" stock rims and tires Michelin Cross Terrain SUV 235/65R17 (see pic below) with a new set of 18" rims and continental cross contact lx245/60R18 also see pic below.

So far I found them to be a lot noisier than the original ones but I like the look a lot better.

Tomorrow I'm taking the Mdx to the dealer to have it realigned, since after the replacement, the steering whell is veering a bit towards the left, which is odd as per the previous set used to veer towards the right.

The shop where I have the tires and rims replaced, couldn't replace the sensors on the new rims so I'm hoping my acura dealer can take care of that tomorrow since now I have the TPMS light on when I drive.

Now my question is, even thought I understand that's a personal issue, but will I be ok with the new change or should I go back to the original ones, so no drastic changes affect the transmission or the power train?

(Having issues uploading photos, working on it)

Btw the cost for the changes was $1,150.00.

Right click on your pictures in imageshack, go to properties, copy the link for location and paste it in here under image.
