1/18 Diecast of 2010 MDX

For you diecast fans. This company in China just announced the availability of this model. I bought the 09 TL from them and detail is awesome. Spendy, but it is not just a toy. My brother bought the 06 MDX and he loves it. According to the email they sent me, it is available in Black and Silver. Here is the link below.

They also sent me this link direct from the company website. They quote $150 incl shpg.

You would think for a $130 diecast it would look a little better than that. IMO it's not worth the money when you look at the cream of the crop that is out there like AutoArt diecast. Now those are worth the $.

Interesting. They have a good variety on the website. Yea, the AutoArt stuff is very high quality. The interiors are amazing.

I'd rather spend the $130 on HIDs and an after market intake.

Not everyone is into diecast. But some are. So no need to tell everyone what to spend money on. It is a hobby. My other car is a V code 70 Cuda. I customized a close diecast of that car to make it look just like my Cuda, and people are offering me up to $300 for it. Its all for the fun of it. This info is for people that enjoy the hobby.

They modeled it after a Canadian version.

it's actually modeled after the chinese version because of the clear/amber turn signal in the taillights & headlights

I believe you are correct it is the China version. But all you have to do is buy some modeling paint that mimicks the transparent red tail light color and you just paint over the amber/clear for a red tail light. I did that for my 06 TL model from these folks.
As for comments on AutoArt, yes, they are an excellent brand. But they won't be making any TL's or MDXs. I now have an 09 TL and got one of these models and I think they are excellent. They have adjustable seats. carpeted floor and trunk area, sunroof flips up. The details are very nice. It is heavy in weight.

We don't have the headlight washers and round fog lights.

Totally up the individual to get one if they like. It will be the closest replica that anyone will make. You are very observent.
I have the TL AWD. When I received my replica, it did have some differences. It had the standard rims, heahlight washers, and standard exhaust tips. But I didn't care. I really like mine.

Sorry, just being observant, not trying to discourage anyone. Even if they had the US version, I'd have to pass to pay for the full scale.

I thought $130 was a bit pricey for the model also. Since I have one in the driveway I park it alongside of my window in the computer room. This way I can look at it for free any time I want. Of course it is always the side view...
