08-09 mdx
Hey everyone. I'm in the market for a MDX sometime in August and wanted to do some price-searching for a couple of months instead of rushing the purchase. Does anyone know what a decent MDX price range is?
I've seen some from 18k to 28k.
Is that correct? And is there anything I should pay attention 2?

Theres quite a range with these, depending on several factors. Mainly mileage, condition, options, and color combinations. If you found one for $18K it probably has well over 100k miles on it, and it's probably in poor condition or has a salvage title. I recently bought an 09. Took me 6 months to find the one I wanted, but for one with less than 75K miles the price range should be $24-31K. The lower the miles, and the better condition its going to be towards the top of that range. From my experience the ones that I looked at around $25-26K are priced lower for a reason. A lot of times pics don't show the little flaws, and it's easy to waste several hours driving around only to be disappointed by the true condition when you get there. Black interior ones seem to fetch more as well as some colors. For example you can probably find a burgandy one with tan interior for $24K (no offense to anyone, just not a popular color preference for most people). I ended up buying a CPO 09 for $29K. I could of got a better deal out of state, but that would involved flying, and driving it back. I was tired of looking, and there were no other grey/black ones below $30K with less than 75k miles in Colorado for sale.

what are you looking for?? color? mileage? options? cpo?
the not so popular colors bali blue, dark cherry, desert mist...
i know when i was shopping last summer for mine i had to have a black interior, tech, low mileage, and CPO (peace of mind thing). so i did pay a little bit more, but the price was still below retail according to all the "books" so i was happy with my purchase.
i have noticed the prices have dropped (the whole MPG and gas prices thing...though demand for the MDX is still strong). low 30's to mid 20's for the 09's, under 30 easily for 08's since the car is 4 yrs old. lots of 09's will be at dealers since the lease returns will be coming back so you'll have a slightly bigger selection of cars to choose from.

The 08 mdx I found is in immaculate condition with 80k miles. Silver with NAVI. For 19k plus ttl
I wish it was August/september so I could buy it.
But I have no real preference. Just <100k and with NAVI.

last summer a 4 yr old (07-at thetime) MDX loaded with tech and RES and 73k mi...non-acura dealer wanted $26500. it was pretty clean though the DVD player was acting up and so was the sunroof.
That sounds almost too good to be true. Look it over with a fine combed tooth and make sure you know of all the issues. Check Carfax. (Don't trust Carfax, but check it because it affects perception and resale.) If you're still comfortable with it, I'd buy it. At that price, if for some reason you end up unhappy, you can probably sell it with hardly any loss (maybe even profit). We paid $27k for an 08 with 60k miles, without nav.
Have you seen it in real life? Or is on craiglist for sale by someone in the military that's currently overseas?
