07 or 08 MDX ???

Very good reading here for a newbie. So I come for information. Since I only have a $25 - 30K budget, I am looking at 07 and 08 MDXs. This will be my first MDX. Is this a good year to start with? Are there any "gotchas" I should know about? Which is better...07 or 08? Looking for Tech model. Want to keep mileage under 70K. A Plus would be extended warranty.

Thanks....

I would go 08. Also, wear are you located. If in or close to NJ let me know, the dealer I purchased from was super amazing and it was recommended to me by another member on the boards here. Otherwise, gl with whatever you get. Can't go wrong with Acura

If you can, try to get an 08 since it comes with a standard auto dimming rear view mirror. It is also a newer car and not a first model year.

Located in the Dirty South.....ATL.

There's something about a dealer MDX in the ATL area. They price them like they doing you a favor to sell them. All over priced...if you ask me. This motor machine seems cheaper in almost everywhere except ATL. I prefer the dealer, but I have seen private sales, in person, cars.com, even Atrader...all lower then the ATL dealers. But I guess you get what you pay for......but then again...maybe not. Not to mention.....sales tax from dealers. With my less than 15K miles per year.....mostly hiway trips.......I was hoping to keep it for at least 6 - 8 years. I saw one with Acure Warranty until 120K miles...has about 42K now. I have a lot to learn and read about this motor car. I read about nightmares from some to it's the best thing you can drive. So as you can see.....I'm learning.

Thanks for all the help......
