Though it is 2010 this was all happening by 2008, tho i still like the truck.

1) Volume rocker on steering wheel stopped working, it sometimes changes the audio source now, if you push the steering wheel inward firmly all the buttons work, as if the contacts are loose, which they probably are.

2) The gas tank makes annoying sloshing noises

3) Leather is absolutely obliterated

4) Seat heat stopped working twice. I got in an accident one time and the driver side seat airbag came out so the top part of the seat had to be replaced, discovered that the seat heat element shorted out or something, there was a burn mark at one spot, could have started a fire. Got a new seat with heater and it burnt out again.

5) Transmission started skipping alot, at 170 000km the tranny blew, but i dont blame this so much on the truck, i abused it farely during the snow seasons. After arguing with acura that i get all my services done from them and that they shoulda seen it coming, they got me a refurbished tranny and only charged me labour and minimal costs ($1500) now it drives like new !

6) TPMS light is always on..

7) Alot of the lights behind the console buttons done work

8) The right rear view mirror doesnt go down all the way for parallel parking, it stops short for some stupid reason.

9) Ive got Toyo all season tires and but im still not very confident in the rain with it.

10) DOnt even make me start on the brakes,, they are underpowered for this truck, the pads wear SOOO fast and the breaking is not very confident.

11) The motorized Lumbar does not work very well anymore, i have to make sure im not resting my back on the seat for it to move forward, also it feels like over a day of driving it makes its way back into the seat.

12) The power seats are sooo noisy, had the motor replaced once, only for it to start making noise again after 6 months.

13) The rain sensing windshield is retarded now, if i nudge on the sensor behind the rear view mirror, it works properly for 10 minutes.

PS. I have been putting in only Gold Gas and EVERY service has been done at Richmond Acura.

On another note, the Bose sound system in the 04 tech is amazing, havent blown a single speaker yet. And my 09 TSX tech, ive probably blown every speaker at least once, and several twice, now their telling me I abuse the system and they wont replace anymore speakers. Im gonna print off every thread on blown TSX speakers on this forum, walk in there, put baby powder on my hand, slap the tech across the face and give him the stack of printouts, let him think about what happend for 3 days, and go back demanding new speakers. I been thinking about replacing all the speakers with Type R alpines and 10w7, but then i cant keep the ELS sound processing ( which i love ) cuz its so specifically tuned to these stupid panasonic speakers.

movin on up, gotta 09 rang rover super charged to compliment the fleet. Under my company I had an 04 mdx (still own), 05 mdx (sold), 08 CSX type S (still have), 08 TL TYpe S (still have), 09 TSX tech (still have). I'll upload some pictures of the 04 MDX the one im complaining about, it has a nice interior i optioned it out. Wood steering wheel, wood shifter, wood dash kit, chrome stepping rails, spoiler etc. Ya alotta ppl do the outside but ive never seen one with so much wood on the inside

 

Sounds like you're pretty hard on cars IMO. You must share the car a lot with other drivers. I usually drive instead of the wife so my seats barely ever move.

Only complaint I can come up with on my MDX is the drivers seat bottom leather didn't hold up well compared to the other seats.
