***2013 MDX NAV Unit Not Receiving Traffic/Weather***
Hello everyone,
Newbie on board here. Just want to say hello and post an issue I'm currently experience with my vehicle.
I have a 2013 MDX that had a trial subscription to SiriusXM for 3 months. I let the subscription lapsed and recently took advantage of the 6-months for $25 renewal. Now it didn't come with traffic initially but got it added on as 'complimentary' with XM customer service. Everything works fine with the exception of traffic and weather data. Refresh signal multiple times to no avail. Kept getting 'No Traffic Data Available' or 'Activation is not complete'.
SiriusXM 'tech' support was a no help so I'm going to bring the MDX to my local dealership to have the radio/NAV unit 'hard reset' tomorrow. Just had a feeling that's not going to fix the issue but I'm going to request higher tier engineer at XM to see what else can be done.
Please share your findings if you're experiencing similar issue and what did you do to remedy the problem. I will report back with the outcome.

The traffic and weather also went bye-bye in my MDX after the end of the Sirius trial subscription. I also got the 6-month renewal, but didn't ask about getting the traffic back and they didn't tell me. The Sirius radio features still work as expected.

Open an online account on the SiriusXM.com website. You will see what package, length of service, and cost you actually have.
If your traffic is showing as a part of your paid service (even if given by a rep) then keep after them. Have them check your account to see the same thing you see. They will do the right thing and straighten it out in the long run.
If traffic is not showing up, it is your word against them that a rep gave it to you.
This is why whenever I renewal my XM service, I am logged into my account and see immediately my renewal length, price, and what package and or extras are included. I do not hang up the phone with the rep until it shows up. Never been more than a minute or more after working out the deal with them verbally.
