Will the 20" wheels from the 2010+ Camaro fit our 2009+ TLs

Hello all, I have been doing some research to see if this setup would work on our cars but so far I have not came across any TLs using this setup. On the other hand, there are a couple of posts over on the Acura MDX forums showing that the wheels work on their cars.

The specs of the TL SH-AWD wheels are 18"x8" with +55 offset and 5x120 bolt patterns cb = 64.1
The Camaro wheels are 20"x8" +35 offset on the fronts and 20"x9" +40 on the rears with 5x120 bolt patterns cb =67

These wheels are OEM and are selling pretty cheap ($500-$400) on Craigslist. The tire setup I thinking of using would be 245/35/20 all around with Tein coilovers for the drop.

Whats your take on it and do you think its a direct fitment without any rubs or needing to roll fenders?

Here is how they look on the car.

This is up close.

Yes. There's a member here who has CV3's on his 4G TL. IIRC the specs on those are 20x9 et35, no modification either. I'd go with the same size/width all the way around. That's just my preference though. Good luck, nice choice!

Don't forget you'll need hub centric rings for them to mount correctly. Definitely post pictures if you do this!

I installed a set of 20X10 (+35?) with 275/35/20's on a 4G TL SH OMG AWD BBQ. The rear lip just barely needed a touch of roll. Like...another 3mm, and it would be clear. Also installed Tein SA's at the same time to lower it.

Acura oem HPT 19" wheels weigh 32lbs each so those numbers aren't that bad if you ask me.

Its usually what you expect with OEM wheels. They are durable but you pay the price in weight or money if you have a forged OEM wheel option like my previous EVO. I will try and post some pics once I have done painted them.

I can't say I ever thought about a Camaro wheel on a TL. I am curious to see how this pans out...

A lot have happened today....

I finished painting the wheels and they came out great. I used Dupicolor Satin Black and Matte Clear.

I covered the center caps with some 2.25" Acura decal.

The lugs for the Camaros are the same thread pitch as our Acura TLs 14x1.5. I went ahead and purchased a set of Gorilla Locking Lugs Wheel Locks Part# 71643NBC. It had a lot of great reviews and fits all 2010-2015 Camaro wheels.

I would get actual Acura center caps if they fit. The Chevy symbol is still quite visible and takes away from the look.

Wrong, they weight a tad over 28lbs, I weight them myself and verified. I've also weight 12+ 18's, 09-11 18's and diamonds.

Looks great, better than I imagined, so does the decal.

I'm sure from a short distance away it wont be visible and that most likely an acura center cap will not fit, hence why he did that.

maybe he could even sand or take off a layer from the bowtie emblem on the centercaps

if they are being covered with a sticker, then it shouldnt matter what it looks like underneath!

Most Acura caps are 2 3/4, I need atleast 2 1/4. I found some blank after market caps but I was not planning on spending $50+ and then still having to use the Acura stickers on them.
