What price would be too low for an '07-'08?
I'm looking at this 08 Tl for $10000 with 100k on the clock. Does this say anything about the car? i know i wont know for sure until i go look at it & take a test. I'm just curious at what price should an 07-08 be with 100k and a decent history?
Here is the link 2008 Acura TL 3.2 w/Navigation, $9,999 - Cars.com
I'm looking to buy and Acura TL soon, this weekend if my buyer buys my 93 Camry. I spend time on this website more than with my GF lol. I know a lot about this car and am dead set on getting one.

What you need to do in terms of price is figure out what the average price of all the 2008 TLs with similar miles sells for in your area (I personally included cars within 300mi for when I was looking). From there you can work on negotiating a price with the seller.
A local used car dealer here had a 08TL with 143k mi, just for the "fun" of it I went in and took a look. They wanted $16k after everything OTD. No way in hell I would pay that much for a car with that much mileage and where the owner of the lot takes it on his daily errands.

Hard to say, but I'm willing to bet it has an accident history. Besides that you can be sure that your gonna have to drop some money right away into it for the 105k service.
I personally think that vehicle has some sort of story which is the reason for the price. A clean one with 100k should be a little more than 10k I think.

There is not an clean 07-08 tl at that mileage for that price, there are two possibility thing could go wrong here. General tl similar to that condition and year go for $12k-$14k.
1. The car was involved in hurricane Sandy and submerge for god know how deep.
If the car mileage and title is legit then the final answer would be
2. Dealer advertise price will bring more interest (potential buyer) and they only sell for that price if you finance through them which a quite pleasure interest rate at 22% and you can not paid the car off before certain amount of time (kinda like a cell phone contract), if you violate this the there is a penalty fee on top. If you say you pay cash then the price would be something outrageous.
My experience shopping for a car in NYC if the deal too good to be true then stay away from it. I understand if couple hundred or a thousand dollars but not that cheap.

Go, check it out and ask the owner if anything's happened. Look for evidence of accident damage. It could be a clean car, and the owner's just in a rush to sell or doesn't know the value.

the taillight is cracked and hid bulbs somehow turned green...
seems to be a couple red flags but who knows, we're only speculating. If you're really interested, how hard is it to pick up the phone and call to check?

I got lucky and picked up my 07 TL-S for $12,000 with only 100k on it. Nothing wrong, and best of all in KBP. Just be patient, and search online once in a while. They'll be a TL with a price you cant beat.

If I were to sell my car I would give it a good detailing job unless it was a junk car. This one is probably worth that 9k or even less. A lot of cosmetic issues on the exterior. Interior looks like shit and probably smells worse than that. I hate when people treat theie cars like that... Mine 1989 Nissan Maxima was cleaner 4 years ago before I got rid of it. This car is probably worth a try since the price seems to bo relevant. Good luck

Thanks for all your input. I'll give them a call tomorrow and get more details on it and then decide if I want to drive to NY and check it out. Seems like I found the same car with a much lower price tag on iseecars.com

Also could me a marketing scam just to get buyers to come to the door. "It is $17,999, our internet people lost one number" or when you call them to inquire about specific car and the answer is always "yes" but as soon as you get there "O, you meant that car. It was just sold"
