Taking what carbon fiber off your car? There is no carbon fiber. If you really want your car to be a show car your going to need to spend alot of money as it looks like your car is an 04 base with nothing done to it. Down the road if its a big concern to be a show car I would personally do the thing your thinking of last.

Honestly, your time & money would be better spent on other mods. If anything I might get creative with the plastic cowl covers to gussy up the engine bay a bit, they already cover most if it up anyway. Certainly that's only my opinion. But If you want to tuck the engine bay, than do it. And be sure to post up pics of the end result.

I read "Tucked and Shaved" and went in a totally different direction. Was a little nervous doing a google image search at work but it's cool. Has NOTHING to do with what it sounds like!

The engine is going the wrong way for it to look cool. FWD engine bays always look stupid.

I think it looks awesome, but its a 9 year old base TL. Seems there would be quite a bit above that on my list of things to do.

^yeah, because there are better options than dropping a motor from a different chassis.
duh.

and my 3.2 base TL whoops the shit out of UA9's.
so, really there's no point...and you'll just end up with lots of headaches.
sure, its the same J motor; but are the mounts the same?
will your transmission bolt up to it?
have you figured out wiring schematics for the ECU?
etc, etc, etc, etc.

by all means; do something different, but be realistic with your goals.

I also dont see a need to "tuck and shave" the engine bay. its pretty as is.

Can I see a before and after pic of an engine bay with this done? This makes little to no sense to do this to our cars.

It's basically cleaning up the engine bay and making it as simple looking as possible.

Correct me if I'm wrong, guys!

Your correct bro!

OP honestly it wouldn't look too bad, im looking to do car shows this year as well. THOUGHT about tucking wires to hide them and pop hood and trunk for the car show. But that wont happen for me unless I get more "show car" mods for my engine bay. Like have it professionally repainted a different color, different designs on firewall in the engine bay etc...
Its very popular with the CIVICS in car shows. Looks SOOO clean IMO

Its your car do what you want to, if you DO IT please post pics so we can all see the results.
