No, a regular 2005 Acura TL. Wondering how much the seat bottoms / tops cost from the stealership?
it will cost you an arm and a leg and maybe your first born's arm and leg.
go to a junk yard, go to car-part.com, or go to an upholstery shop that specializes in perforated leather . Before I bought my TL from a dealer (Used), they contracted a guy to come out and replace the cracked leather bottom. It looks and feels great, much more supple than the OEM leather.
If my leather had split, I'd be glad to get that endless rpm kit that Bruce is selling...they look damn good, even if the diamond pattern isn't your first choice.

Unfortunately the OEM leather looks like it sucks and wears out quickly. My 23 year old Audi leather is still soft and supple.
Big difference in quality of materials. Looks like the Acura got the same Honda supplier. Looks good when new but doesn't last long.
Anyone have an OEM looking aftermarket leather covers like the "leatherseats.com" solution I posted above? Would love to see what these look like installed professionally!
Yes, we make the OEM replacements using the correct colors from Acura. We are a vendor on this forum. We list the regular TL cushions for $235 and the S-Type for $250 each.

I'd see if you can find an upholstery shop near you. I had my car tinted at a place and the heater they used in the back of the car burned a hole in my back seat. The owner had me to go an upholstery shop and the guy there was able to match the color and leather exactly. I'm sure it wasn't cheap but it was probably cheaper than the price tag on the entire rear seat cover.
I ended up having to buy a new seat cover for my drivers side because the foam padding was worn away as well as the leather. Had the same shop do the install for $90 and it looks great. My passenger seat now is ripping so I am going to have to take that in sometime and get a quote.

I just found this video on YouTube which shows all the options and a completely new installed interior in an 04-07 Acura TL. Looks pretty impressive and I like the blue accent stitching the owner selected on that A Spec.
The seat kit looks pretty darn nice. I think their base kit is only like $450-500, so that's a good option for those with pretty warn out interiors.

Ive replaced both bottom cushion skins with leather from autocustomleather, the match is pretty much perfect and the fit was very good. i think they look better than the custom job posted above (no offense). Its a bit of a process, especially the first time, but its really not hard to do. i have found it is much easier to use zip ties in place of most of the hog rings.. easier to install, easier to cut and remove if needed, and pulls everything tighter.

Was it your first time? Was thinking about getting the set and bringing it to a shop as I've never done upholstery before but if it's easy enough, I may try to tackle it myself. Did you try with hog rings first and then switch to cable ties?

I had replaced cloth covers on integra seats before, but thats it. i kind of used some hog rings in certain spots and zip ties in other.. its really pretty easy and self explanatory, as when u remove the old cover you will see just how everything is attached. removing the seat from the car (without scratching anything) and disassembling the seat takes a while.. replacing the cover will take a little while for the first one, the 2nd one will go much smoother. just try not to rip the rods (that the hog rings attach to) out of the foam.. that will leave you with covers that might not be fully tightened into place

Almost any leather is better AND CHEAPER than the garbage Acura uses.

Hey guys - I went through the same issue here recently on my 2004 TL - Moon Gray Interior. I opted to buy the OEM seat replacement for my driver's side seat through Acura Parts | Genuine Acura OEM Parts | Acura Parts Cheap and I'm very happy with the results. The install wasn't too bad, but I definitely agree that it's helpful to use zip ties as noted above. See a few pictures attached.
My wife ordered me a 100% full leather kit from , leatherseats.com. I have pictures posted in my build thread. I haven't done the install yet. The quality and detail work is top notch! Worth every bit.

I think I'd need to find a nicer car before I invested in this, but I think your interior would look like new with one of these interior kits. It's a WAY better deal than the factory seat cover options IMHO.
You could get all the seating surfaces replaced through this source for less than you could replace the front seat bottoms from Acura directly.
Maybe contact them? I'm guessing if they saw enough market for something, the might make it!
Personally, I wonder if I'd get leather or just use the "leatherette" (read: vinyl). Some of those look identical and hold up way better in the long run.
My mom's Mercedes had a vinyl interior. She drove it for 5 years and never knew it wasn't real leather.
