Cell Phone Holder

I just figured this out the other day after looking for a way to mount my iPhone in a convenient location. It took scratching my wife's iphone case and a $7 gamble, but it works great. You buy this case: iPhone 5C Case, DaswiseŽ the Beat Series Hard Clear Back Cover Snap on Case for iPhone 5C+ Screen Protector (Zagz 2):Amazon:Cell Phones & Accessories And this phone holder: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00MOW...528360_TE_dp_1 Put the case in with the flat side out and on the bottom, just push the holder on the flat part. My tape adapter (06) still works, no grinding. I used an old metal iPhone 4 case at first and it would make the tape player flip sides once and a while, so I recommend the plastic case.

Honestly, I don't like to see anything aftermarket on my dash or something that covers anything on the dash... I also hate to see any wires so when I connect my phone to AUX here is how I do it:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Wireless-Bluetooth-3-0-Stereo-Music-Audio-Receiver-for-Car-AUX-Home-Speaker-/301042668231?pt=US_USB_Bluetooth_Adapters_Dongles&hash=item46178a92c7
I have this hidden under the armrest storage and I am wire free when listening to the music yay. Makes me feel cool when I grab the phone to change the song and there is actually no wires attached - But that's only my preference!

Do you have to do anything to it when you get in/out of the car. For example, if you have the power hooked up to mini-usb lighter adapter in the center armrest storage, do you ever have to touch anything in there? Does it power on/off when you turn on/off car, etc..?

I also hate wires, but I don't have an aux port. I bought a fm transmitter/bluetooth receiver, but haven't received it yet. I am hoping I can stash it away in the console and have no wires. We'll see how it goes.

I'm intrigued by this. Wonder if it would work with my Note 4.

I just need to lift up the armrest, hold the power button for 3 sec and that's it. It connects automatically to the phone. I only plug it in to the lighter when the battery is low. It really has a good battery life for such a small and cheap device

I bought this Kinivo BT receiver. As far as getting an AUX into the vehicle for those who don't have one, it's actually pretty inexpensive to do i think.

Amazing plug and play solution especially if you play music off of your phone, because it also acts as a hands-free phone mic. For me it was great because my HFL was already broken when I purchased the car. Automatically connects when turning on the vehicle, and you can have preferences on your phone that can auto-play music when connecting to bluetooth, etc.

Edit: What is robot check? o_O

Is it rechargable or regular batteries? The one I have for $16 is rechargable so I don't need to worry about replacing batteries every 6-7 hours...

not battery powered - you plug it into the DC power in your arm rest and never need to touch it

Highly recommend any of the Oso mounts.

Osomount Homepage | In Car Mount & Holders | iPhone/ Smartphone CradleOsomount | Phone Accessories and Gadgets

Friend recommend them, had one in my old car. They claim their suction cup is the best in the world and I believe them. Company is in the UK, but shipping is quite reasonable to NA.
