Predictions on how far they will fall? 8? 10 tops? Seriously, how the fuck is USC ranked 16 after losing to Boston College?!?

I don't think they will fall out of top 10..but that also depends on all of the massive matchups on Saturday. lost of potential upsets/close games.

Embarrassing. I have never seen so many dropped passes in a game. Ever. 20+.

Congrats to Miss St.

Quite the shake up in the rankings. Still only dropped to 14 so that's not bad. FSU still as #1 is a fucking joke. Auburn by far should be #1.

Big matchups the next two weeks.

I've learned a few things about the Aggies the past two weeks.

The Good
We're a 4th quarter team.

The Bad
We take three quarters to warm up.

I won't complain about 14 or Georgia being ranked better.

Awesome weekend of College Football

What a Saturday of College Games!

It was awesome to see Alabama lose!
It was awesome to see Texas A&M get crushed by Miss State. Texas A&M deserves to fall out of the top 20.
And best of all, to See Notre Dame remain undefeated, and beat Stanford.

In two weeks, you all will see Florida State lose their first game.

And, yes, I concede, my South Carolina team is just average this year, so I have no more high expectations for them this year.

If A&M crushed USC and MSSt crushed A&M, how bad does that make your team?

yea, a high ranked team that loses to another high ranked team for their first loss doesn't deserve to get dropped from rankings. sorry lol

The SEC in general is in turmoil.
most of the usual Giants have taken a loss and the Mississippians are reigning supreme.

its fun to watch it unfold at least.

although I don't bank on either of them getting out of their remaining schedules unscathed... im sort of pulling for the little bastards, they've been sort of punching bags of the West for quite some time now. (along with Arkansas)

and don't forget, the Polls have loved bama for the last several years, they are only sitting at #7 and I see 4-5 teams in front of them losing in the near future.

but to be honest, if Bama beats A&M, LSU, Miss St. AND Auburn to close their season, I don't think anyone will have an argument at their shot for the playoffs. i have a feeling they will lose another as well, though.

The Pac 12 is also in turmoil.

Good luck to the Big 10 getting a team in the playoff this year. MSU is their best shot if they win out but it might not be enough because their conference sucks so much.

Best games this week: TCU vs Baylor, A&M vs Ole Miss, Auburn vs Miss St. Oregon vs UCLA and Georgia vs Mizzou don't look too exciting. The red river rivalry doesn't have that charm this year, BUT I can see UT giving OU all they can handle.

Should be fun to see how everything plays out.

I think Auburn has the best chance at winning the SEC West with they way they are playing now.

Yes, it should be interesting, but I think this year will prove a 4 team playoff isn't really much better than a two team. With 5 power conferences, it seems unlikely everyone would be okay with two teams from the same division getting in, but it sure looking like two of the best teams will be. Anything that will favor conference diversity over the unbiased best team is garbage and will need to be done away with.

It's been a few years, but it's good to see the SEC not revolve around Alabama.
The fact that Ole Miss, Miss State, LSU, Auburn, and Alabama play each other is awesome.
LSU will lose several more this season. My guess is that this will be Les Miles last season.
SEC East will be Georgia by a landslide.

Buckeyes in playoff?!
Their offense is finally looking good (granted it is again cupcakes) but their defense is atrocious

You have to be a fool if you don't think the winner of the Big 10 won't be in the playoffs.

And that will either be MSU or OSU.

If it is a two loss team, they won't. Not unless the winners of the other four conferences are relative scrubs.

I agree, but teams like Wisconsin and Northwestern can wreak some havoc by beating OSU/MSU.

I have come to accept that building years have to happen at some point. and its a very real thing this year.
starting our Freshman last Saturday was our last shot at figuring something out. it didn't work, so its time to teach...

not a shot, they JUST signed him through 2019
I don't know how I feel about it, but he isn't going anywhere.. his win/loss percentage is outstanding..

I guess we are a bunch of fools.

Since we are here, which power 5 conference doesn't get in? Does any other conference ever stand a chance? Which two conferences don't get in if Notre Dame gets in?

This is exactly the reason why 4 is as much of a joke as 2. 8 needs to be the minimum.

I wish it was at least 8, but 4 will weed out the undefeated team who played nobody all season or the 1 loss conference champion that had a shitty conference.

whoever makes it to the big dance, I hope its a good game to watch. we need something worth replaying on espn classics for a change.
