Our run defense is doing great. Pass defense better, but still has plenty of work. But overall we are looking much better on D than last year.
And it looks like our offense hasn't lost a step!

Seriously though, thank you, Kevin Sumlin. The Aggie faithful have waited a long time for a coach with your abilities. You actually inspire me to have faith in the Ag's again. Please don't leave.
I couldn't help but think about Professor last night. We knew before his passing that A&M and USC would be cross-conference rivals tasked to play every year, and I actually looked forward to that dynamic with him. It's too bad he's not here to show his support of the team he loved.

I'm a big Sumlin fan. I'm glad he stuck around. I was also impressed by the tenacity SC showed. Often when a team is down by that much you can see the fight drain out of them, but they continued to make me nervous until the 4th quarter.

I was watching a DVR recording and decided to call it a night at 11 pm with ~1 min left in the 3rd up by 17. I was nervous going to bed, and I debated for quite some time this morning whether or not to look at the final because I know the Aggies can easily give up 17 pts in 17 real-time minutes.
Saw that highlight this morning though of the true freshman intercepting Thompson. It was a terrible throw, but my goodness, that kid looked great in his debut. Two huge hits and an interception is a BIG confidence booster for the start of his career.

it was a close game, but these boys practice in the worst conditions day in and day out...
after 3 quarters.. they still have steam left in the tank. that's what it came down to. Wisconsin lived up to their ranking, though.
the big shocker was Alabama/Florida State having trouble...
Georgia's running game is like whoa.... (no surprise, gurley is destined to be great)

I must say as a South Carolina Alumni, we were embarrased by Texas A&M. We just played no defense. A&M looked real good. I hope our team can return and play with some decent defense this next game. I also hope VT can beat the hated Ohio State Buckeyes this weekend.

Signing with ESPN for 20 years - $30,000,000
Paying Coach Strong for his first season - $9,375,000
Watching the tea-sippers cry while their beloved university laughs all the way to the bank... Priceless
Too bad you can't buy victories.
