So I recently had a 2014 tl as a loaner and looking at its tailights, they seemed to be a bit brighter with maybe darker edges than my 2012. I got distracted when I brought it back and forgot to check.


Ps, can we make the blind spot indicator make noise? Or does it just flash..

so your question is on the tail lights or the BSI?

The latest Acura BSI system, as used on the 2014 MDX/RLX, will make beeping noises as well as blinking indicator lights.

You can check out their wiring diagrams and see if our systems can be modified to do the same.

The light housings for 2009-2011 are silver, the newer ones are black. I prefer the silver ones as there is a lot of details in the design. The covers are darker as well.

Maybe I just need to get my car next to a 2014 and see, but I swore the leds and the housing color seemed different

2012 and up have exactly the same tail lights.. just liek how 09-11 are all exactly the same as well
