Reconditioning my rims project
Reconditioning my rims project
Well guys I have decided to pull trigger and start working on my rims. I am in the process of stripping the gun metal paint off. Next will be taking the tires off(i kno maybe should have done it in reverse but eh well). Then on to the sand blasting, after that will be cleaning and prep. Finally I will be powder coating them. Will take a bit of time as im doing 1 at a time as my oven is small. But the end result should be great. Going to do high gloss white.

Side effects of drifting lolz, it's ok thought ditching the 205-55-16's going to 225-50-16's

Brian, I know yesterday I told you I think my factory rims were a little different than yours when you said you may have a bent one, but now that I see them, they are the same

I bought the Eastwood kit, but haven't picked up an oven yet. As soon as I get one large enough for wheels, I'm coating my stockies too. Probably in the OEM silver.
Those turned out really nice. Are you just going to spray paint the center caps? The problem I have is getting a silver that matches the silver powder I have. White will probably be pretty easy.

Well I powder coated another rim so it's 2 down 2 to go. Also had the tire mounted. Hopefully I will find 2 more 225/50/16" tires so I can have them put on when the other 2 rims r done
