Hey Guys im helping a friend here.

As title states they are 18x8.5 A-spec Wheels. Selling 5 of them, they have 235/40 18 Michelin Sport tires w/ 80% tread left. the wheels have some blemishes, nothing major, there are No Bents or cracks on the rims. He got other rims so selling these.

one of the flaws are that 2 of the tires have bubbles on them but he still drove on them for 1k and bought new 19" rims.

He only wants to sell these local, so there is no shipping at this time. sorry LA or TX. willing to meet 50 Miles from Tysons VA.

asking price is: $1600.00 for 5 rims with tires.

Do a search and see if there are any 8.5's that sold for this much... I've done my research.. and i will agree that the price is Slightly high and yes for 5 tires..

Seems slightly high but not outrageous. Deal comes with 5 wheels. These wheels were only made in 04 and the only ones in gunmetal. I think the price is justified.

Pricing is going to come down to supply (of which there is very, very little) and demand - which varies with time and individual.

FWIW - I paid more than $1600 for the same package from another AZ member 4 years ago.

Seems fair for 5 18x8.5 Aspec wheels and as far as interest OP said they want to deal locally no shipping so that fact alone would cut down interest. Just to recap this is 5 wheels not 4 and they are bigger so your comparing apples to oranges when comparing the other ad.

Where in the other post did the seller said he will ship? And seriously, you think I need your recap? Even with 5 wheels at 1600. We are talking about 320/wheel versus 175/wheel from the other post,so that's still almost twice as expensive. Plus the wheel condition there is mint but these here have lots of scratch. Yeah, I do believe that these wheels might do just fine if there was no other post. But since this is not the case, those offering a much higher price will suffer given the fact that the competitor item is almost identical, that's why I gave him my hoping to help him out, that's all

so most of you guys think that it is to steep of a price, as many others have said these are rare to find, not everyone is selling them. and yes the reason it is higher then the 18x8 is because it has that .5 of aggressive look. plus the tires you can slap on these can be wider, unlike the .0 they have a specific tire that has to be mounted.

Now the price didn't say Firm so that right there is a give away of him willing to negotiate, I asked him if he would go lower and he would be willing to accept offers. But not no low ball offers. and just because another buyer has them for less doesn't mean he will price match. again these are rare and the color makes a big difference because 04 was the only year this color came out. now they have Stainless silver which the other buyer has, and Ebony which is a black chrome, and regular chrome. those 3 colors are on the 18x8 only. the 18x8.5 is gunmetal.

Also these come with 5 rims + tires, now I asked him to make sure of tires how much tread they have and it was a mistake on my part. it has 5/32 of tread which Is 50%. so now he said price is @ 1450 but will to listen to offers. and no there was no where that it said shipping included, at this moment not interested in shipping.
