Front End Damage

I recently got into an accident & damaged my front end. What parts do I need and how much might they cost?

I love how vague his question is.....
"""What parts do I need and how much might they cost?"""

How the hell are we suppose to know??? It could vary from Bulb Light to Totaled.

A little more info than "i got into a accident and damaged my front end" is needed. Your definition of damaged may be different than someone elses. Is it a scuff? is the hood bent up to your windshield? Pictures would really help.

Welcome sierrao35!

1st some pics would help out considerably. Second, front end damage might not be limited to just replacing a bumper, head light etc... there could be issues beyond just replacing parts.

Unhappy Front end damage cost estimate.........

Yeah, as these guys said......it's difficult to know if it's only a broken headlamp or the bumper was buckled......or if the air bags blew after the car's front end got pushed back a foot and a half at the time of the accident.

~ Was there any insurance coverage available ? What year and condition is your TL in ? What's the mileage and mod options ? What was your car worth before the accident ? Can you "DIY" replace parts and repair the damaged car ?

~ What caused the accident ? How fast were ya going at the time ? What did ya hit ? Was the point of impact straight on or from the corner ? Is the car driveable ? Are the rims pushed back ? Is the hood's latch pushed back ?

~ What parts were damaged at the time of the accident ?
Bumper, grill, headlamps, hood, fender, radiator, subframe, tire or rim, etc.

~ A pic is worth a million words !!!

ahhh 3.2 do you really think OP can answer those type questions?

Best thing to do is A: if drivable= take to nearby body shop and ask for preliminary estimate, that's just what they can SEE is bad. Many things cant be known for sure until other parts are removed--sub structure damage-frame bent etc
if prelim estimate exceeds 4000$ that's bad news, the final bill is almost double that
B: Do you have comprehensive/full coverage insurance?
call insurer and ask what body shop they recommend
if car not drivable that shop will send a estimator to your place to inspect the car

Im guessing OP didn't read the how to post pics thread near top of the thread list
try it again!

Are we supposed to magically know what to do haha?? Best to have a professional look and give you a list of parts and a quote and then do your own search for parts and see if you can get it cheaper or not. Like they all said, pictures could help but none of us here can tell you exactly what to do.

like when a certain spouse gets home much later than expected and says `Come outside and look at this` You just know its never to see an amazing sunset!

Simply ask her- Are you ok? and how mad am I going to be?
why she insist on sitting at red lights with cars stopped in front of her......

^^^Yeah, with all the newer "TL" Gens......the day will come soon enough as our older TL's die off, but we gotta keep our faith and maintain focus on survival for the present time.

So, while it's nice that ya stop by and offer your help from time to time, do ya find yourself jumping forward moreso to the newer Gens or do ya prefer to regress ?

Broccoli is good for young and old alike !!!
Ya can tell us why ya deserved more Broccoli if ya want, as we tend to stay at home alot.

I have a complete front end let me know what you need and I'll sell it to you. I'm local too so no shipping cost. Only downside is the parts are all WDP and if I recall you have MBP
