But yours unlike the front bar is just attached to 2 points. The front bar is attached to 4 points. Its much stiffer and gets the job done much better!

their isn't exactly a decent firewall in the trunk space to attach anything to.

triangleate it down towards the bottom of the strut tower like this:

that should stiffen it quite a bit, and you can still keep the pass through feature too

And if you look in the pic that is what the factory already has. A bar that connects both sides together and bracing that attaches to it that comes down at a angle.

its a good idea, but more than eight dollars, and your red guide angles for bars leads to trunk sealant, probably wouldnt want to remove that

WTH are you talking about? I pointed out the the "Stock" setup already has what you added, pretty much making what you added worthless. No where did i say anything about 8 dollars. Look at the stock setup. It is connected from one side to the other with a brace and the rear parcel tray, along with gussets going down at an angle to help stiffen.

Also if you take the time to see WHAT the red lines were for it was just an idea and NOT where they would necessarily have to go (though if you took the time to clean the seam seal off and weld it properly there and then re seal it there would be nothing wrong with it) to show you that a multi point would be better than just a bar going across. Go look at the front bar. It is a multi point and much stiffer than just a bar going from one side to the other.

and the lines where an idea, also about the sealant YOU CAN BUY IT AFTERMARKET, body shops have to be able to reseal seams when people crash there cars

they serve the same purpose, side to side bracing, just because u look up what other people say, doesn't make u a researcher and sure doesn't make you any sort of engineer. I did my research I installed my own strut brace that I came up with, what have You done?

U probably do make more money than me for now, because I am finishing up my senior year at University. There is some truth to what u said I do what I want because I want to, and it all serves my own purpose. Maybe you don't need creativity in your line of mechanical work, where every tool serves its individual purpose. However I am an English Creative writing major, my mind is just more apt to thinking outside of the proverbial box which confines you.

p.s sorry your father doesn't love you

Deficit is a noun Mr. English Creative Writing Major.

Were you looking for the word deficient? Or was that the "creative" part of your major.

^nice catch

i can care less how a product looks, as long as it performs good.

as for ur rear strut bar, it doestn do anything.

one of the reasons our seats done fold down is for stability and strength. we have the rear deck connecting the two strut tower. then the triangles behind the seat to keep it from twisting. its that simple. take ur car to an auto x and make some hard runs, ur bar will start to flex and might possibaly pull the metal where its welded or just rip off.

FlacoJ, its one thing to try something new and another thing to brag about it when you didn't put any R&D into it. Sure, I give you a thumbsup for originality.. its always nice to see people trying out new stuff, but cmon, srsly? Its your attitude thats annoying ppl..
