What's up Iowa? I know there is just a few active members but I think we can start thinking about having a meet in a month or so when the weather is nice.

I notice that there are bigger crowds up in MN, or down in MO or KS area. So any great ideas? Post up!

I am located in Central Iowa. I like driving so I would be either up for local as well as driving out of state to see some nice TL's.

 

Why dont you guys come down to KS for the national meet ?

It is gonna be in June

so have a local meet now and drive down to KS in june

 

Yea, we want to go down there in June.
But our local meet would consist of only 3 cars.
Maybe drive up to MN for a meet and then head down in June.

 

I was up in Iowa couple months back LOL...loved downtown IOWA....the bar scene is just awesome....so are the ladies

 

haha swoosh you read my mind, definitely hoping to make it down to KS for the national meet and hit up a local meet around here. Gotta check out what a PnP'd + J&R ECU TL is like It'd be nice to get to know some people with modd'd TLs and who have worked on them to help with installs etc.

 

Swoosh, did you go to bars on Court Ave. in Des Moines? Great scene over there.

 

i might have couple more mods if everything goes according to plans

but you will see heavily modded cars here in the KS meet

besides Steven Bell does a great job of organizing everything....

I was in the downtown Mariott in Des Moines and the bar's were only couple blocks away...i remember walking there....I think it was between 5th and 6th Ave....i was couple drinks down....

but the ladies were a lot more friendly than KS

I would come to Iowa! Lived in Iowa City for ten years, Go Hawks! I live in western Wiscompton now tho. I feel like Rochester would be middle ground for ppl in the cities n Iowa. Des Moines is cool too, only about 4 hours for me. Also, if i can make it to the nationals meet i would be down for meeting up with yall in Iowa as well.

Late, but another IA guy here with an 09 TL (Cedar Rapids) - Count me in probably if anything happens in the future (Ahhh, if only there were more Acura dealers around, maybe our state wouldn't be so bleak.) I do see quite a few in Iowa City where I work, so they're around. Funny that I see more old Legends in CR than newer stuff though.
