This is sucks... My wife's car had the transmision done a few weeks ago. And now 670 miles later, the transmision take a shit again. The extended warrantty we bought doesn't want to do anything with it, because it has expired 400 miles ago. But the place where the transmisiom came from, they'll warranty for 36 month and cover the labor up to $400. So, I have to pay for the rest of the labor. The car has close to 130K miles.

 

Thinking to upgrade to 3rd gen TL from 2nd gen. Because of the tranny issue we having.
I know if the eallier 04 and some of the 05 has the tranny issue. Do I need to know anything else beside the tranny issue? We want the type S, but we don't know if we can afford it. Maybe 06-08 base. Are there any problem or issue with those year? Because after we got the 03 TL, we found out if there is tranny issue on that year. I've read about you have to change the pressure switch on the tranny. But somepeople say you only have to do it once, and some people say if you have to do it every 20K.

 

get the typeS you wont regret it.. might get to keep up with that NSX too

 

If you can swing it the Type-S is the way to go. But if not any base model 06 and above should be good.

Just went to a small car show at the Universal Technical institute in Orlando (on S. OBT). It was OK but I'm kind of bored seeing so many Domo dolls hanging off mufflers, Civics with pink 12in wheels, and trunks with 80 vip stickers. Last couple shows I have seen have been full of this. I guess I'm just dying to find a car show with classy modded cars. Doesn't have to all be exotics just tastefully modded cars.

Am I the only one?

Coolant bypass
XLR8 75a motor mounts
Corsports shifter and base bushings
CT short shifter
Voodoo shift knob
Full led lights

 

I'm in the Tampa area. There are a few meets around these parts. If you want to meet up with some folks just let me know.

 

I need to head out to some meets as well I think there is a couple going on in orlando as shown in a post earlier for April. Im in K town lol.

Simply clean was pretty good. Cars n coffee in Sanford is about the best place I think. Or plain ok acura meets

Hey does anyone know where I can pick up Motul 5.1 brake fluid in the Orlando area?

 

Check Murray's in obt. They have a couple different brake fluids there. There is alsobthis place in Kissimmee on Carroll or Dinegan by the railroad tracks. I forget what its called though.

Absolutely insanely busy with work. Had multiple huge projects culminate at the same time so was pulling 60 hr weeks for a while. However now im back to normal (I pray) so im down to actually enjoy life again!
