TSX vs Accord
I'll take a V6 Accord over the TSX anyday if your like me and like the "punch" of the v6. I got a loaner 2010 TSX while my 05 TL was in the shop for crack dash and the TSX is very under power compare to my 05 V6 Accord. However, the TSX had very comforable seats, nice instrument cluster, and HID lights. If you want style, go TSX, but I like the V6 engine so I'll take a V6 Accord.

Two things here. You said you had a 05 TL, so do you have a TL or an Accord? Eh.
Also another thing is that if you do have a 05 V6 Accord. The TSX is faster than the 05 V6 Accord. YouTube videos has been posted to prove that. Of course the TSX needs to be a 6 speed.
Trust me when I say the TSX is completely different animal when its a 6 speed.
TSX should be compared with Civic if your trying to BS about the size of the vehicles! The Accord is much bigger and in the size class of the TL, not the TSX.
Personally, I'd be in a TSX or TL before I'd ever be in a Civic or Accord!

The Civic is around 175" long, the TSX 186" and the Accord 193" long, so the TSX splits the difference in size between the Accord and the Civic.
The OP wants Navi and 4 cyl, the Accord Navi does not come with rear camera.
Accord are made in USA, so you get better colour and option selection, TSX comes from Japan and getting the colour and options you want may be more of a hassle.
However Honda sells over 300K Accords a year vs 30K TSX in the US.

TSX is in between usdm Civic and Accord in size. Keep in mind the accord is a Full size car. The TL is a accord in gens and size. TSX is mid sized. One place you can really tell is the radio stack. TSX everything looks "squeezed" in there. If it were my choice and money wasnt a real issue, get TSX. If you are trying to get the most bang for the buck with a more supple yet sporty ride then the Accord is good. I had 08 EX-L/ navi coupe and i loved the car. Yes it may have no hids but i swapped a kit in the 1st week and can be had with a 2yr warranty for under $100.
Here are pix of 2011 that comes out late summer early fall. I'd wait until you can drive that model before deciding. comes with the jdm/euro style brake lights too. but the added mpg and on reg 87 octane can weigh big on your decision.

Damn, after I saw your post, and I went to check on the new Honda Accords. They do have the back up cameras now! Seem hella weird to me. I mean Honda is making there Accord too similar to the TSX in my opinion.
Of course the Honda Accord feels cheap. The Honda Accord right now feels cheap compared to all the TSX, no matter the year. Its the material it was made from and the way it feels when you seat in it. Its like comparing S Class Mercedes to a MayBach (Which is not discontinued). Even though they are the same company the MayBach will feel better than the S Class.
Japan doesn't make Honda Accords and ship it to the US like they do with Acura TSX. Acura TSX is straight up imported from Japan. As in it got on a boat or plane and got sent to USA. While the Honda Accord was never on a boat or plane, because it was assemble in the US.

Just to clear up one point the TSX is actually in the compact EPA class. And hands down TSX over Accord. Don't get me wrong the accord is a great family sedan, the TSX just is much nicer in all aspects. One of the main reasons for me to get the TSX over the Accord was Size, then came 6 speed and slightly stronger engine, and then all the bells and whistles, then warranty, and finally, just like the looks of it.

So the TSX is closer in size and price to the US Accord, not Civic.
