I put a set on my '96 TL and they give a nice quiet, controlled ride that has been working well in the bit of wet we've had here in Socal. I really like these for a comfortable street tire. Got a set of 215/45/17s for about $290 shipped. I think I like them better than the Toyo 4 Proxes on the CL-S.

Neither of these have the grip of the set of Dunlop Starspecs sitting in the garage, but then it would be dumb to exceed the limits of any of these tires on the street anyway.

I loved the Yokohama S.Drives on my 18s. They were priced well, and they hooked up rather nicely too. They were great in the wet. I guess you could consider them noisy, but it didnt bother me at all.

Ive also had good luck with BF-Gs, so Im going to look into them again for my next set.

I think the Toyo Proxes 4 are a really excellent tire. I have had Toyos before and have had good experience with them. I am probably getting a set this spring for my daughters 2003 Maxima SE.

He said summer tires, these are all-season.
http://www.1010tires.com/tire.asp?ti...del=Proxes+T1R these are their summer tires. Hmm weird how the all seasons are rated better in dry, dsnt seem right.

Never had a problem with the nexxens besides ice and snow. Then I suggest if you don't want to crash you car dont drive it with those conditions.
Always stayed away from falken since first experience with them.
They were a decent ridin tire but,They wore out 15,000 miles before the rating.
Shop offered a discount on the set next to make up for it.
I've been buying tires from the internet since.

Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110. You won't be disappointed. It is the 2nd rated best tire in the market under the Dunlop Direzza's.

Only $129 per tire for your size. They are silent, great tread wear 280.

I know, but all-seasons have longer tread life than summer tires and and for the money I want the longest lasting tire so I am willing to compromise a bit.

I just installed the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo 's 235-40-18. Need to rack some miles up on them. I'll report back after a few thousand miles.
Initial reaction...good grip, quiet & good road feel.

I picked up a set of the hankook ventus r-s2 myself since they were on clearance to make room for the new version the ventus v12. I got mine for 80 something a tire new from tirerack. Still a great tire for that price.

My brother has those on his Accord. They handle snow rather well surprisingly. They are noisy IMO and they seem to have soft sidewalls. Nice grip though.

I picked up a set of the Ventus V12s. I have yet to mount them though. Ive read alot of good things about them. For $130 a piece, I couldnt pass them up, especially since the BFGs I was looking at were $180 a piece.

They've had the cheapest prices every time I've bought from them anyway, and the free shipping rules. Having a warehouse a few hours away helps to, I always get my tires next day
