Honda/Acura Antifreeze Question

Hi guys,

I will be having my coolant flushed.

This is the one recommended by Acura for our cars right?

How many gallons do you think I'll need to purchase for the complete job?

Thanks!

This is premixed so you do not add water. I drain and refill from the radiator only, not the engine block plug, and use a gallon. It culdn't hurt to buy a second gallon in case you need top up the overflow bottle, and you can always use it next year.

Take the time to get the coolant out of the engine block too.
Even small amounts of old product degrade the new product.

Its like changing the engine oil and not the filter

Buy 2 gallons and use straight out of the bottle
Remove overflow tank and wash then refill
Buy new radiator cap just for safety

Thank you for the reply 01tl4tl.

The antifreeze that I posted first is what Acura dealers use on our TLs right?

Thanks!

Ordered two gallons of the above shown antifreeze from Acura of Escondido. Came out to $29 shipped.

Here is the link...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=280064031610

Fast shipping. They shipped it out same day.

I'm not concerned about the small amount left in the block; I change the coolant every year. I do wash the overflow bottle out and refill. It takes a minute.
