Temperature controller
Hello all,
I noticed a problem with my CLS6 and hoping someone else has had it and figured out the issue. When I turn my temperature up after the car is warmed up, the temperature does not change. If I turn it almost all the way up, then it blows hot air. I can then turn it down and the temp with go down. I live in SC and car stays in a garage so normally don't use the heater, but every now and then need it. The car runs great, warms up to about 180F and runs there all day long. Is there a controller that isn't working correctly, or something I can check? Thanks guys!!

Don't care...
Mine does pretty much the same thing in the same kind of conditions. Occasionally, it will shift the vents to your feet but it still won't open the heater valve until you crank the temp setting to 85F. Once it shifts the valve, you can lower the temp to something reasonable and it will modulate as it should. I haven't dug into but I'm guessing it is the water valve being stubborn.

Take a look at this thread and see if it might be along the same lines - https://acurazine.com/forums/third-g...ve-diy-747304/

Check to see if the valve is opening/moving. Before you crank the heat to get it to get warm have someone turn it a little bit while you watch to see if it moves, or if it takes wide open to do so.
