Last week I washed the engine/engine bay well (it was nasty) and used some Souns motor kote. Engine looks like new, beautiful. However, the belt began to squeek and is noisy for about 5-7 minutes until it warms up well.
It annoys me! My best guess is that I sprayed some product near the belt. What can I do to solve this?? It's very annoying. Will it go away on it's own?

I'd think the product should wear away soon.

If not, or to speed it up, you may need to remove it with degreaser.

Thanks. I will give it another week. If it doesn't go away I might use some Simple Green and a rag, I suppose..
