I know, I know.....
....so here's the story-I'm ready to look for a place. But my wife has 3 grand babies that live 2 hours away from Kansas City. They are 5, 4 and 3 years old. So if she needs to, she can zip over to see them.
If we move down to Florida, they're not 2 hours away anymore.......

You've never done some many donuts your car turned a different color?
He was hooning up the neighborhood and the cops got called. Had to go to the Pay-n-Spray to get his wanted level down. Came out yellow.
Takes such poor care of his cars, the sun has UV faded the silver to a yellowish shade.
But definitely didn't sell one and buy another. Who would buy one car, sell it, and then buy a *very* similar but different one so shortly after? That would be silly!

you motherfuckers!
Thanks, everyone...I work for the power company, Walter...there's always room for one more! hahahaha...
and yes, bought one, sold it to be responsible...realized being responsible sucks ass...bought another. I never considered yellow until I got it but MAN do I love it...especially for someone that loves photographing it, it pops on every background!

Nice, those are pure sex on wheels.
Been internet-shopping for sale section on the s2ki forums....maybe one day. Though at this time I need to be bit more responsible since I've got a suburban home-sized loan to pay off.
Just hope in the next 5-7 years when I think I'll realistically be able to start afford car toys that the S2000 won't on a insane markup/price and is decent selection left.....

To be ready for my future S2000...what would be people's preference of AP1 vs AP2?
Looked at the s2ki forums faq threads and whatnot...and I keep seeing people going back or loving the AP1...but as far as features/convenience/tech specs the AP2 seems to be better overall (aside from the drop in redline down from 9k rpm...which arguably is a plus for the AP1).
But any quick thoughts on how you went about deciding which S2000 you went after?
#3074
Well, when I knew NOTHING of S2000...I immediately was drawn to the looks of AP2. If you're a purist, AP1...
Higher redline is what they all tout to avoid feeling bad about the higher displacement of the AP2.
Supposedly the 2004 and 2005 are the MOST immune to any issues both engine and body, but also have the holes in the head rests which I prefer and also the old throttle cable and not drive by wire so it's harder to get a tune. I'd say that maybe aim for 2006+?

Yeah and not to mention when in the next 5+ years when I am realistically in the market for one...I'd hope to have some of the later years to have simply it is less old than the other ones: 06/07/08/09(if can find one).
#3076
To be honest, this go around, I actually set out with an open mind for a good deal on a clean AP1. I just happened to stumble on a really nice AP2...and in yellow, no less...I was not sure about it, but the more I looked at it the more I wanted it. I had always wanted a NICE yellow.

^LOL. Interesting. Here's a gorgeous red AP2 that owner is selling to go back into a AP1...seems like a pattern:
WV - 2009 - 1 of 47 NFR - $24.9k - S2KI Honda S2000 Forums
Only thing I hate about the later year car is those wheels....SO UGLY.
Definitely the 1st to do is a wheel upgrade...and that's probably all it needs to perfect the look of the car.

I can't see his pictures but I can't fathom you liking the AP1 stock wheels better...
AP2V2 are some of the best looking oem wheels ever, IMO...AP2V1 are what my current car came with and they've grown on me. They're light, contrast well...
but alas, wheel upgrades are always a must.

Here's a 07 car: not too bad but still not really exciting to me:
A 05 car: definitely better looking in my mind:
I think those were the diff AP2 OEM wheels?
Honestly overall nothing too good and I think a wheel upgrade is definitely a must and can really complete the look of the car.
#3080
Yes sir, agreed...
funny, the AP2V3 are the CR wheels...first ones you posted and they command a pretty penny but I think they are ugly AF.
2nd are the AP2V2 and can look great with a drop but I actually really like the V1's the best now, probably because I have them.
