haha that's awesome, i never knew it would look like that!
i hated the mobile site design, i always switch to full mode lol
Yes the cars are allowed on most streets but on sunny days on the weekends there's a lot of people around so it's definitely difficult to snap a good pic. Gotta be real patient or take a few pics on a tripod and layer it in PS and remove the pedestrians. Nothing you can't do though, obviously.
If you feel like it, hit me up by pm when you're down in MTL and we'll go for a beer or 2.

Trust me, your car is by far much cleaner than mine
Thanks for the kind words, though!
Hey Steven, would you be able to change the thread title to:

Photoshoot will definitely happen - I have carbon fiber goodness planned - Also you've definitely inspired me to do some proper lighting mods, so I think I'm going to do some research this week and order all the LEDs I think I want to do and just slowly work on it during my time off while I wait for my parts to slowly come in

LEDs mods are the best.
They make my extremely happy as they are very cheap.

I bought OEM Type-S tail lights off Popee.
They were in bad shape, meaning a portion of the bottom of the tail lights were epoxied, and one of the 4 studs were snapped. Various pieces were epoxied together.
I concluded that the first owner of these ripped the tail light off without removing the bumper.
Inside was full of dust and water marks.
Anywho, I cut my base tail lights up (which were in perfect condition) and swapped the clear turn signal diffusers over, and also swapped the "backing" of the tail lights which do not have epoxy or a broken stud.
Basically, I took the clear front lens of the Type-S tail light (along with its internals) and put them to the backing of my base tail lights.
End result is perfect tail light, no epoxy, no broken pieces, no broken studs.
Here's the outcome.

Yea first owner was rough with these for sure, couldn't stress it enough,
N1h1|1ty- cutting tails is easy don't over think it, if you want to be on the safe side try and find a extra set of tails

Thanh, quick question for you - have you had issues with your stock toe arm / adjustment bolt? Mine is seized to kingdom come and I just want to see if there are other Canucks with similar issues / how they approached the problem. I'm realistically looking at aftermarket arms for camber and toe adjustment, but thought I'd ask anyway.
Also I wanted to say that I really love the way the headlights work with the silver color of the car - they transition really well, and the red, white and black all come together really well. You have a really awesome eye for color / overall combination of mods

HOLY smokes that was a while ago now that I think of it.
They didn't have any problem bringing it to spec.
I need another alignment soon, and I'll let you know.
Thanks for the support!
I like the CDM look.
In a way, they are just plain Type-S tail lights, with clear turn signals.
I didn't want to do anything that looks super modded, like tinting, blacking out, painting, etc.
CDM are in fact OEM styling, which is what I wish to keep with this car
I photoshopped what my car would look like with the clear bottom reflector, and although it looks super good, I want to retain the OEM look.
Yeah various parts of the car has been repainted.
Where and when, I can't tell you.
I can tell you that when I bought it, the owner said it would go in the paint shop to paint some areas.
I can also tell you my trunk and rear quarter panel has been painted last year.

Now that I think of it, I just need the 07/08 side mirrors and my car would look CDM (without the redesigned license plate panel and rear fog light since I have the A-Spec kit).
I don't think I'd be willing to do the yellow rear turn signals and sidemarker, though

not at all!
mounts perfectly. just need to do simple wiring and they'll blink with turn signals.

Thank you guys!
Thanks to Popee for sealing them up
I don't mind rocking the front plate
I removed it before, and my paint looked so nice behind it but there's the license plate frame outline, and scratches from the frame rubbing with the paint.
Steven, if you have a chance, would you be able to delete the posts with broken images above?
