Think this thread is going to be my teacher https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/diy-blacked-cleared-headlights-3g-garage-g046-589746/
Will get the silicone monday morning. Think i should do the housing in gloss black or just open them up and remove the amber? Still browsing threads on that resistor needed for the switchbacks

Being that your grille is blacked out I would black out the lights as well.

The orange is given by the amber diffuser. You remove the amber diffuser, you lose yhe orange and get pale white ugly colour.
This is why I had to get LED amber bulbs. Otherwise I would have just used the stock bulbs because I'm cheap as hell.
Blacked out headlights are a must.
Done it 5 times; just check out my progress thread.
Cheers my friend.

OK so Friday looks to be a busy damn day. Doing a 1x3 with redline along with changing my 3rd and 4th pressure switch. Then I get to take the headlights off and open them up and clear them. Then install my switchbacks and sodder in the .12 ohm resistor. Hopefully all goes well
Then next weekend the car goes in to get the roof done gloss black.

just a tip for the drain and refill and switches....do it in the following order:
Drain....
pop the switches out
pop the new ones in
reinstall drain bolt
make sure everything is nice and tight (snug tight)....i believe the torque is around 28ft/lbs
fill new fluid
reinstall the fill bolt
