Hello USR,

I think everyone would love it if you could sell just the clear headlight diffusers for the 4G TL.

Just like the ones from the 3G TL:
https://www.uniquestyleracings.com/i...product_id=465

But for the 4G TL Headlights, like the clear diffusers here:
https://www.uniquestyleracings.com/i...earch=acura+tl

Sounds like you would just need to contact Depo to buy just the diffusers and not the full headlights.

Also the 4G TL is 09-14 (your site has it listed as 09-13).

Thanks

We certainly hope that there would be a demand for lightings and accessories from the 4G TL owners for us to develop more new products.

Glad to hear that, thanks.

We are curious to see how many 4G TL owners would like to see this clear diffuser being available? So if you are, sign up by posting in this thread, thanks.

I would potentially be interested in the clear diffusers, depending on the price. I think the 3G ones are overpriced at $100+.

i think if make it a option for us to just buy the clear diffuser, everyone that ever retrofitted or is going to retrofit will buy one.. thats a fact..

so about 30+ people i can guess right now that would be interested for the right price,.

just do it son! very satisfying watching that glue stretch when you pull it apart. Wear gloves. If you get glue on the clear lens side, use mineral spirits to wipe em away.

I remember my first time, and just finished doing it again this past weekend for my TSX-r lens swap. so fucking worth it.

I'd be happy to, let me know when you're dropping by! I love Moosehead, so take a trip over to Gatineau and grab me some cheap cases and you've got a deal.

Guys,

Seems only about 10 people are interested in Clear Diffuser for the 4G TL? That is probably not enough of interest. Anyone else?

Regards,

Simon

Not sure this topic is getting the attention it deserves since it's buried in this thread, so I just created a separate thread.

Can a member of the facebook group post a link to the interest thread as well?

Unfortunately the thread linked above has been closed since I'm not a vendor. However, USR I strongly suggest you create a new one to get a better gauge on the interest in these diffusers. It wasn't up five minutes and already someone else chimed in.

Just my $.02

It's a pretty involved process, and takes some balls to attempt. You have to remove your front bumper, then your headlights...and bake them in the oven to loosen the sealant...then you pull them apart and swap out the amber piece for the clear diffuser (while doing any other related mods). Then you put them back in the oven to heat up the sealant again and push them back together. You can purchase this to help with the reseal, but if it's not done properly you will get condensation inside.

Just an idea...

Keep an eye on the inventory at local junkyards. If a 4G TL shows up you can pull one or both headlights and practice on them. Hell, you don't even have to practice on a 4G TL because I'm pretty sure most of the newer headlights are assembled in the same way.

I did it on my old Hyundai Tiburon and had no issues, and I'm far from the most handy person.
