Need advice on 2009 RDX with 105K
I just went ahead and bought this 2009 RDX with 105K miles. Could not find a better one in my budget. From the carfax it seems to be a very well maintained vehicle. Do I wait for the car to tell me what service I need to do or is there something I need to do as preventive maintenance.

When I turn the key from position 2 to actually cranking, I hear a small cracking sound as the key moves to the final cranking postion. It that normal.
Also the cranking seems to be loose, meaning, in our toyota van, you can fell the key turn and car starting to crank. But in the RDX, after the final turn it seems to take a second or two before starting to crank. Afraid I might kill the starter prematurely.
I appreciate any help/advice.

Are you refering to a "pop" form the audio system? Mine will do that from time to time.
Honda starter issues usually begin with symtoms such as a "buzzing" timbral noise like that of a kazoo.

Thanks you. When you get a chance could you watch this 10 second video. The sound I mention starts from 5 seconds to 7 seconds and then the car starts to crank.
