Automatic seat slide

When you turn off the engine and open the drivers side door, the driver seat automatically slides back. Is there a way to turn this off?

Without reading through the entire thread ggesq linked. You can do it 2 different ways.

1. Press the scroll wheel on the right side of the steering wheel and go to vehicle settings. Then you can scroll till you find the settings for driver and then the "seat position at entry/exit" set it to "OFF" and this will disable the auto seat back.

2. Press the settings button on the center stack to open the menus on the top screen. Scroll around till you select "Vehicle Settings". Move the scroll wheel to the farthest right submenu (I can't remember the exact wording" and then press the enter. This will give you the same option of changing the seat position at entry/exit to off.

This should be what you're looking for. The auto seat function still works with the remote driver 1 or 2 settings.

Hope this helps and it's what you're wanting.

The funniest part to me is how this feature exists in the TLX, but the in MDX, the steering wheel raises up. Not sure why they picked one over the other for each model, and didn't think of combining them.

This did the trick. Thanks!

Seating position is taller in an MDX, maybe? I always felt like the old MDX we had the seating position was always so high than having it move back wasn't very necessary for exiting. Though at time I did wish the steering wheel did move up a bit, and I tend to drive with the steering wheel pretty low.

Wish our TLX had an electronic steering wheel adjustment.

I turned it off. It is easier to get in with seat back but harder to get out IMO

I realized today with mine, that the settings for the seat must be connected with the key fob #....
does this include radio stations too?
do I need to go in and set each key fob to how the driver would like all the settings?
Debating on letting my wife hold onto key fob #2

Each key fob sets a variety of functions including memory position (seat and side mirrors), as well as radio stations, and personalized settings like wall paper etc

If driver #2 gets in the car as soon as it is unlocked it automatically changes to their settings. Say driver #1 has driver #2's key. Then yes, it will have all of #2's radio stations and settings, and if #1 is driving they can just press the 1 on the door which will put it to their seat position and side mirrors, but it still keep #2's settings of radio etc. As soon as they get out and lock the car. This happens every time car is locked/unlocked. Great if you give ur wife #2 then it uses her settings every time she just enters the car
