I like the "rawness" of the viper and I've been fortunate enough to drive the old model. It's got insane power and you can light the wheels up with ease but the suspension needed a lot of work. From the sounds of it, not much has changed in the suspension department because the review mimics my thoughts exactly.
The car grips like mad but when it lets go it really lets go. There's next to no warning that the rear end is about to come around and when it does, it is really tough to get back in line. The best way I can describe it is that the rear end is driving on ice when it breaks loose. You go from insane grip to absolutely no grip in a blink of an eye. I'm impressed that The Stig was able to control it so well in the wet. He's one hell of a driver.

My last stint driving a Viper left me soaked in sweat. That thing is a BEAST of epic proportions. I those guys that make a living of driving the Viper GTS-R Comp Coupe.

just like to mention, not for bragging purposes tho. that i have drivin this exact car on a few occasions.
insane is the only word for it. 1-2 shift at 99 km/h. thats how it does 0-60 in the 3.9 seconds.
you can just do a 180 anywhere you please as well.
i do beleive there are many better choices to spend the money on though. like a corvette for almost half the cash

the corvette is an amazing car. ive experienced both of the cars. definately not as barbaric tho.
but i would rather have a vette than vipe, call me crazy, if you didnt compare cash, obviosu differences, most people should find the vette more inviting than the viper

Nothing comes close in Performance/Price ratio... The Lotus Exige is just in a league of its own... Faster on a track than a Porsche GT3 but yet worth $40K US...

Yeah, Hondas are far less popular in the UK, hence they have this aura of being unique and different. The fact that they are fun to drive, good on gas and PRACTICAL in the UK make them desireable.
Top Gear tends to rate things differently than most US magazines. Points get knocked off for cheap interiors (like the Corvette) and for engines/suspensions that are crude. Its a different way of looking at cars but I tend to agree with most of Top Gear's assessments.

Top Gear - Jaguar Diesel Terst Drive
Did anyone see that yet? That girl who competes with Jeremy Clarkson is HOT! I think she is even better than Vicki from Fifth Gear!!!
I think Top Gear needs a female host...and there's one readily available!
I will try to capture the screen and post it later on...

She said: it's GINORMOUS!
her name was Sabin (sp?) and i didn't think she was that hot. i wonder who's the better driver, her or Vicki.
Top Gear definitely needs a female cohost.
