I have about 2.5 hours of video I recorded throughout the trip on various of the hundreds of miles of twisty roads that we attacked. I gave the files to a friend, who is currently editing them into a 10 minute video. We went down TOTD 2x, and up the mountain once. The run down we were aware of visible police "setting up", so we drove within the speed limits to be safe, although we didn't exactly slow down in the turns, so it was still an interesting run. There also tended to be a LOT more traffic going down the mountain than up, so we kept getting stuck behind fatasses on Harley's driving 25mph
. Going up the hill was much quicker, and I don't recall getting stuck behind slow moving traffic. The only video I have is the last run down, in which we again got stuck behind much slower moving traffic for 3-5 minutes at a time. Plus when I watch the video, it doesn't give you anything close to the thrill of what it really was like driving these roads. In any case, If you want to see the unedited run down TOTD, I'll post it on YouTube for you to see...
