You are one tenacious sob! Those wheels look sweet.
I am surprised as well you decided to do a full rebuild. Kudos.

I don't know why I am always amazed when I read this thread. You would think after 10 times, the shock value would wear off, but... NOPE!

Thing looks like a total sleeper too. I know it's a GT-R, but there isn't a whole lot giving away the difference between yours and the 600 pony versions.

You really are sorry... At the very least, read page 12.

i think it would run out of gear in the low 230 range. AMS did 233 in a mile on an Alpha 12 stock geared a few years ago. I don't really have much desire to go much over 200. If you notice i haven't messed with the aero at all. People have been removing the wings to get a few extra mph and have been paying the price. My friend Gidi Chamdi did 220 in the 1/2 and spun in his Alpha 20.

Believe me, I am very tempted every time I pass the pcar dealer to sell this and get a no worries GT3 or Turbo S. It's as much about the fun i've had and the friends I have made with owners as it is anything else.

You're levels above a stock pcar.. why not just return the GTR to a sub 1000hp level?

This.

I'd imagine the power is addicting though .. going backwards would be tough.

GTRs are the bomb, no pun intended.

You sir are dedicated beyond belief. All that to have the engine blow and an entirely new one built. I will live vicariously through your thread.

^^^ am not impressed with the new Porsche GT3RS 4.0!

It lapped the 'ring in 7:27.xx which is only 5 seconds faster than the Turbo S! The Turbo S is quicker to 60 and it a lot comfier and a GT car when compared to the GT3RS...

Just to put things in perspective, the GTR Nismo, lapped the 'Ring in 7:08.xx which is 19 seconds quicker than its rival, the GT3RS 4.0!
