WHY are Lambos so hard to drive, and why is that legal? Hello? You don't hear any stories about Acuras being crashed into guardrails on test drives killing all aboard. Hello? Class-action lawsuit anyone? Lambo gets off scott-free, while Apple loses billions due to lawsuits about accidental in-app purchases. Where exactly does this magical "effect" kick in? HP is linear, not like, for example, a dB scale where +3 dB equals twice the perceived loudness to human ears.

I need to know this for experimental reasons, because I don't have access to a 600HP car, but my next will be either 410 or 450 depending if I go IS-F or RC-F. And I want to know if I'll risk "driving that car into a guardrail" according to this "magical 600HP guard rail attraction effect". Mainly, I'm counting down the days until I can empirically PROVE YOU WRONG. Thanks.

Holy crap.

Long story short, in a 200hp car you can break while turning, no issues.
In a 600hp car, you need to be pretty much completely off the breaks or the car will just go straight.

As well, it can be fatiguing. Power steering is rough in those cars. Shifting is often done via paddle shifting so you wont be using your foot but you will tire out your arms quick.

I feel those two combined is dangerous for an experienced driver.

It's easy to get in over your head in a high horsepower car because you're not used to how responsive everything is at that level if all you've driven is a 200Hp Acura. Add in the fact that even with AWD, Lamborghini still sends 70% of the power to the rear & only applies power to the front when necessary, so it's not hard to blip the throttle & end up 180 degrees.

Like asking why is a Desert Eagle so feared compared to a regular, run-of-the-mill pistol.

The only thing with superior stopping power would be disc brakes, which 14 year olds don't have money for. Otherwise stopping your BMX with your foot is a lot safer / better stopping power than squeaky shitty friction-to-rim brake pad brakes. Yes it does wear out tires a bit faster, so what, some people like to drive with a lead foot and are willing to pay a few extra gallons of gasoline here and there for the enjoyment of it. Same principle applies.
