I dont understand why you "upgraded to 07|08 TL stereo". Aren't all base models(04-08) TL stereos the same? I could understand it if you changed to the type S stereo as the buttons lights up red but even this seems weird too as the lights color dont match with the rest of the lights in the base model interior unless you changed them all to red.

I've upgraded the stereo and nav dvd rom to the 07/08 tl type-s yes, as per the lights not matching, no biggie, working on upgrading the nav screen and hvac too, for now I just matched the colors red on the display =)

OP you should probably mention the faceplate ID. The faceplate ID tells us if it is for non-navi or navi models. Cant really tell from the picture but it seems like its a ITB2. It is located on the cassette slot right hand corner.
