The closest anyone can get to the launch pad is about 3.5 miles and even that is a media/vip area that requires credentials. So you either have standard media credentials and really long glass or photo-specific media credentials and setup an autonomous remote camera inside of the 3.5 mile perimeter.

Also not sharp, and admittedly handheld and noisy. But taken by a friend of mine and the subject matter ( < 24 hour old Moon ) is fairly uncommon.
