Mountek CD mount phone holder photo

As you have have seen on the other thread, Mountek is selling this cell phone mount that attaches into the CD tray. I bought it simply because when two of us are in the car, both center cup holders are always full with phones, sunglasses, water bottles and everything else!

Seems pretty secure and is easily movable to any position. Another nice thing about it is that I can bring on vacation and use it in rental cars for use will the iPhone Navigation map or texting. Worth the buy at $19.95!

I'll try next time I'm in it. The cell phone clamp portion is attached to a ball swivel mount that rotates 360 degrees, same as the Garmin GPS holders. I'd guess it goes in a 45 degree angle in any position. It can also hold the phone horizontal or vertical.

Simple, it works and is easily detachable.

I prefer the Mountek magnetic mount, it's a lot more streamlined/neat and you just put a piece of metal between your case and your phone to keep it in place.

I love my Mountek, but three minutes ago I went out to try it on my new to me 2013 ILX; Acura, in their genius, put the power/volume knob poking out right under the CD slot, RIGHT where the Mountek tightening screw is.

Hmmmmm. Upside down, maybe? Yeah...

Upside down and rotate the balljoint 180 degrees and you'll be good to go
