I'd like to apologize ahead of time for making this post...need info on 19'' rims
I'm sure in here somewhere this post has already been made, I've been looking around for an answer and can't find a definite one. So I recently traded in my 08 TL for a 2014 SH-AWD TL Tech. I'm looking at getting the TSW Tremblant Matte Black 19x9.5 rims with a 40mm offset. Would a 265/35/19 tire fit on the car or would the 255/35/19 work better?

As for your ?'s I can definitely help on that. Just recently purchased some 19x9.5 et 35 and it's a slight poke but nothing major. I asked a few members on here through PM & they're more than willing to lend you their knowledge on things such as this. I went with 245/40/19 BF Goodrich g-force comp 2(slight stretch) and rides better then my stock 18's which has the Michelin pilots a/s. Now are you planing to drop it with coilovers or Springs in the future? You can roll 265 if your in stock height but I believe from other members input that's gonna cost an arm n leg but I would go with 255 or 245 depending on what you like....

No I didn't go with this setup, didn't really get much help from here. But my TL is black and it would've been too much. I ended up going with 20 inch Asanti Black Labels and the color scheme matches perfectly (black with a little chrome) on 255-35-20 tires and they look amazing. I'm still at stock height and don't plan on dropping (yet). I was actually thinking of going wider on the tires but if it cost too much in the long run then I'll just stick with the 255s. But the ride is surprisingly smooth for such a thin tire (Toyo)

Yeah also, IMO, the Matte doesn't look good with gloss paint. I went with the Asanti ABL-3 black milled with chrome lip and it matches almost perfectly. I hate chrome but the chrome lip is just enough for the car. Go for it bro! Post pics once you do!
Post some pics. It's always good to let members here see the beginning to the end on your build. Especially when other ppl are interested in the Acura culture.
If you are looking for style, 20" is the best, you can get away with a decent ride with a 245/35/20.
If you want comfort and endurance, 18" is the most appropriate with 245/45/18 tires.
If you want something in the middle, 19" wheels with 245/40/19 would suffice, this seems to be the best option because of the tire size and other contributing factors like wheel weight, cost, proportion, etc.
Wheel weights are also a factor which effect fuel economy and performance. OEM Acura 18" wheels weigh about 25-26 lbs. Our 18" RonJon wheels weigh only 22.5 lbs due to the Low-Pressure Cast Aluminum construction.
As far as styling cues, the wheels with a lip tend to looks smaller than the same sized wheel without a lip. Thats because of the illusion of the length of the spokes. A flush face or slightly concave wheel will have a larger look and structural strength that a lipped wheel doesn't have. It will also give you the brake caliper clearance needed on Big Brake equipped vehicles without a need for spacers which hinder the security and performance of the setup.
The basic rule is the larger you go, the more risk of bending or cracking a wheel, but the better looking the setup gets (proportionally). The smaller you go, the more protection and higher performance, but you lose that aggressive look larger diameters tend to pull off. You have to look at your needs and weigh out the options.
