Congrats!

If you're looking for cheap mods to hold you over while money is tight I'd recommend an Ebay roof spoiler. When I had my first child and money was tighter it was a fun mod to do for under $100.

Thanks!

I'm really trying to hold out for the Sarona wing still. I had the eBay roof spoiler on my RL and liked it but that was the only choice for that car.

Decided it was time for a new set of wheels. The old wheels were transplanted from the RL and I felt like the TL deserved something fresh. New wheels are TSW Geneva's. Same fitment as the old ones, (20x9 +35), but are part of their standard Rotary Forged lineup. While the old wheels had forged barrels, due to their 2-piece construction, these monoblock wheels are about 4-5lbs/wheel lighter. I looked into a lot of different custom forged wheels but decided the budget needed was beyond my means.

We also decided that having 2 sedans with car seats loaded into the backseats was not enough room anymore and got rid of the wife's 2007 TL in favor of a new family hauler, a 2010 MDX with the technology and rear seat entertainment packages. It's a pretty nice vehicle and we got a pretty good deal on it. I sleep better at night knowing the wife and kids are cruising around in a larger AWD SUV now.

New updates and another small photo shoot. Finally got the OEM lip kit. I'm pretty happy with the car the way it is. The only other exterior mods that I have planned are the Sarona roof wing, possibly an exhaust and possibly a front splitter.

And the other car related thing I did a couple weeks ago. Bought a new cabinet and organized all my detailing supplies in it.

Looking good man! Digging the new wheels, very clean look. ESPECIALLY WITH THE BRONCOS PLATE

Love the organization in that cabinet too, haha!

Love the mods on the TL. I am the new owner of a 2013 TL SH-AWD and have been compiling a similar mods list. My first major mod will be the OEM skirt kits. It correctly sets the cars perspective as a sports car. Approximately how much did you pay to have them installed?

Thanks. I've installed every mod on my car myself, including the lip kit, so it cost me nothing other than my time.

The kit includes all the hardware and instructions? This mod may become a reality for me sooner than I thought.

Looks easy enough with a bit of time set aside to remove/reinstall bumpers. Also a good time to replace fog lights and replace bulbs.

Been a while since I've updated this thread, mostly because I haven't done many mods to speak of. We're in the process of selling our house and buying a larger house so all discretionary spending has been put on hold at the moment. I finally caved and bought one of the eBay roof wings. I was hoping to hold out for the Sarona wing but I figured, at $60 painted and shipped, I won't take a huge loss on the eBay wing if I do get the Sarona one day. I was planning on testing out the new Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires this summer but a free set of Pirelli P-Zero's with 1500 miles on them fell into my lap so I'm rocking some P-Zero's now. Lastly, my 14 month old outgrew his infant seat at the same time my 4 year old daughter outgrew her Recaro so I bought her a Recaro booster seat and put him in her old car seat. Next thing the car gets will be a garage upgrade. Will also need to polish and reapply a paint coating this summer.
