watching the snow being ploughed with my front bumper in my civic is painful enough, i couldnt do it to the TL. haha

I was wondering why you were mia,i hope you had a wonderful vacation.
Yep you were right on the money as usual lol,no clearance issues as yet,but i would'nt want to drive a dropped Tl here in T.O,with the aero kit and the black piece under the bumper it will def.be a snow plough.

You guys don't get snow in the T-dot. We get snow! Hence, why my car is not lowered but certainly love the looks of it!
Cheers!

Just finished installing 1157 switchbacks, pics to come later.Love the looks of it but have to upgrade to the 57 smd bulbs since i ordered the 60 smd by mistake.
Installation of the resistors is a little difficult due to limited workspace.

Lawn Pro,there is a few combo you can do,i am sure whichever you choose will end up looking good.
The one plus of what i did is the egg yolk looks is gone and it looks neat to have the bi color from parking lights to blinker.
I will post some more on Monday, its raining today and the car is too clean to get it wet haha.

Hmmm looks really good bro! Im starting to get the itch to do this.....So when it signals it turns orange and when its on (with lights) its LED..... i think it would be a great compromise to the new LED strip fad that going around now without sticking more stuff on the car and spending $350+ haha.... sooooo that kinda makes me more interested now LOL

Man,there is no way in hell i would put led strips on my car. When i switch out the bulbs they will be twice as bright and more white than the pic i posted.
I have the led drl's,so the combo will look good.I may possibly go with yellow hid fogs in the future.

Very true,it is a bit too much on the blue side for me,the drl's are perfect and i am hoping that the new bulbs i ordered for the switchback's will match better .I do like it better than the amber though.
The led drl's look really nice,i ordered them from this site
http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Euro-Audi-H...0+acura+tl+drl
Make sure you purchase the decoders(resistors) the link i gave you should be for the entire kit.
The match does bother me a bit but i can live with it for now lol,it is not really hard to do,Azine member "Big Mo" has an excellent diy on the main page, the most difficult part for me is the space limitation,i also found that the wire splicers work better if you score the wire first with a blade then install.
I appreciate the compliments,thank you.

You are most welcome, happy to help.
Thanks bro,i hope you are not planning to change your car and get a new toy, though i have to admit that there is a lot of new nice exciting choices.
Thank you,i am on this forum to learn and help where i can,the way i see it i have helped you to eliminate one rim from the many choices available. So while i strongly disagree with your statement i respect your right to post your opinion.
No sweat LP,thanks for the back up.Life's too short to fight it on the net bud.

Received the new bulbs and finally had a chance to install them today,i like it much better than the old 60 smd led that i had before.
For comparison i will just post pics of the difference in colour
60 smd switchback
New 57 smd switchback

Yes,you can, wasn't really feeling the blue from the 60 smd.
Thanks bro, another month before it goes into storage haha.
Thank you LP,seems that you are due for a mod lol,it's been a while since you did something.
Speaking of mods,i think that i am done for now,i switched back to the original exhaust, really miss the awesomeness of the CT e axle back but love the refined tone of the stock.

Appreciate the feedback.
So this weekend i decided to go for a long drive but was somewhat dissappointed since i started to feel a vibration in the seat and floor of the car starting at 110 km/h and dissappearing at 140 km/h.
I decided to start switching out the rear wheels one at a time to the stock ones and taking a test drive after each installation, after changing out the rear's the vibration was completely eliminated.
Yesterday i had all the aftermarket wheels rebalanced with the road force balancing (Hunter Road Force Balancer) ,what a difference, all the vibration is completely gone,i also noticed that the wheels had weights that varied between 1/2 oz to 1 oz.
Big shout out to Factory Tire who did this for free as part of his after sale service.

Def will!!,thank you my friend.Wish you well in Ottawa!!
The vibration issue is a wierd one,if you do long highway driving and then return to city driving the problem returns for a little while,if you are doing all city driving it is very hard to replicate the issue,i have notified the dealer and they will do a tranny flush as the next step.I will leave it for next spring in the event they have to replace the torque converter.
Tl will be in hibernation at the end of next week.
Haha i just realized that you meant the wheel balancing, yes that is all good now lol.

So my car is now stored for the winter,as usual it received an oil change, interior, exterior and undercarriage detail(didn't really need it lol) added Stabil and connected to a battery maintainer,i also put on the stock wheels.
Took out my winter ride and man this thing feel like a big ol boat compared to the Acura,it float and wallows but it is quiet, comfy and has been reliable after 10 years of ownership and 192 k kms so it make the perfect winter car.
Not sure which direction i will go with the Acura come next spring, time will tell i guess.
