So jealous, I wanted the white on black combo but could not find one clean enough. The trunk spoiler is the Mugen one?

More Parts Installed

On July 4th weekend I had a some new parts installed on my RL. I swapped out my 5zigen exhaust for Mugen. I also added the RV6 Jpipe. The Mugen/Jpipe combo isn't louder than the 5zigen alone. I do notice that the Mugen exhaust has better ground clearance, and fits my rear Mugen lip better. The 5zigen hung too close to the body and started melting my paint.
I also installed the UR lightweight pulley. I heard from a few members that the pulley helps the engine rev faster. My RL had lag pulling from a stop after I changed the exhaust, but now it is substantially better. I also changed my Morimoto HID fog light bulbs from 3000k to 5500k. And I installed Hella Supertone horns for the times I get cut off from people not paying attention on the roadway.

I gave her a quick wax and took some photos...

Work/vacations getting in the way. Still haven't put my JDM headlights on yet. Just been sitting in the garage for 3-4 months along with a couple other things...

Thank you! I'm still looking for a local shop that can dye my JDM floor mats and I have a set of front and rear BBK along with Mugen M1 fender flares to install next Spring.

I would much rather have another color and I'm debating on powdercoating them. Only thing holding me back is that I would lose that money when the time comes to resell them.

But I've had my eye on Project Mu gold for a while now.

Chime in and let me know what color you think would look best on my RL. No black or silver (been there done that).

I think the blue or gold would look good. I could attempt a photoshop if I ever get the time at work.

That robin-egg blue turned out to look a lot better than I imagined. But I think the gold flows better with the overall look I have going on here. It is a tough decision with my premium white paint. If I had nighthawk black I would go blue in a heartbeat. Decisions, decisions...

Thanks for taking the time to chop it for me.

It's crazy how much money that guy dumps into leased cars just to turn them back in. Lol. Sweet ride. His 4G TL he had after the RL was awesome too.

He took almost everything off of his RL before giving it back. I meant to follow his TL build, but fell off quickly. He definitely has good taste in mods. MSW appears to as well. He may just take over Zelaya for best RL build in my book.

It took me a decade to hit 1,000 posts. Time to celebrate

I'm going to install a new cabin filter then it's time to put my RL to rest for the season and bring out my winter beater.

Hi friends, I am Peter from Denmark. Just purchased my Honda Legend 2008 (which is same as this Acura RL).

I wonder what Offset you use for the car using Vossen wheels ? I got some other wheels in 19" with offset 45, but the brakecalibers in the front wont fit.

What did you use for yours in 20" ?

Hope you will help

As a 3G TL owner, I am incredibly happy I (somehow) ended up in this thread - MSW your car is GORGEOUS. Possibly the most beautiful Acura I've seen, short of maybe some NSXs. I am really quite jealous

I'll go back to the 3G dungeon now ^_^

That looks good. I think that teal colour looks great on the white..... oddly enough I'm buying the parts for the RL caliper swap for my TL and trying to figure out what colour to paint them. My car is RBP and my stock calipers are red and I dont really like them lol. I like black with white letters as its a clean and simple approach

I know, I put NSX calipers with black powdercoat on my old CL. I wouldn't like red calipers with RBP either.

Such a rarity seeing other modded RL's. I met with members Stretch4130 and Tyrenith548 weeks ago. These pics don't deserve its own thread since we are meeting up this Spring with more people. If any of you want to come to the tri-state area next season let me know.
