Replaced fuel pump relay car still stalls out intermittently
Replaced it last Saturday. Car ran fine until after work on Monday nite. Drove about 1 1/2 miles. Stopped at a store, car started up fine. Drove about 1/2 mile , car stalled pulling up at a redlight. It started about 15 minutes later and drove 7 miles home, no problem until tonite. Tonite, stalled out in a drive thru, started 5 minutes later, ran 1/4 mile, stalled, started a few minutes later. Ran about a mile. Stalled again. Started up a few minutes later. Stalled after a mile. Finally made it home.
I noticed when it was stalling tonite it was a slow stall over about 50 feet at 40mph. I heard the valves? clanking a little when I tried to pump the gas pedal a bit before it completley cut out.
Could this be the crankshaft position sensor or the actual fuel pump?
2001 cl-s 5at with 104k miles.
Thanks in advance.

do you have a data scanner with live data feed? if so hook it up and see what it shows when the car stalls,
a bad fuel pump could cause this as well but in this case I think it would be unlikely unless you are always running the car down to E
