ya i think it's just the light and the different colours. Maybe they flared the ends more on the silver CL.

Hmmm. The skirts on the red one look much more subtle then the silver one. It also looks like the flares at the front and back of the skirt are shorter on the red one.

But it could just be the color

i did the silver car first since ross was so kind as to be my test project car. the flare was traced from the silver car and used again on my red one. there may still be slight differences since it was all one off. if you look closely you will notice ross's front lip appears to turn down on the side as it goes towards the front tire. this was one of those lessons that i was able to correct the next time around.

mold? there is no mold. by mold we mean just modified through cutting and gluing to make it fit.

what do you use to fill the gap in front lip ?

i used polyflex. Make sure you epoxy some supports that run between the gap so the polyflex has something to stick to. I also fiberglassed behind the lip afterwards to solidify it even more.

I just got a 99-01 TL lip kit for $420. Who wants to help me (by help me, I mean do this for me) do this for my 03 CLS6? I'm not much of a DIYer, especially with body work. There's endless pizza and beer in it for whoever volunteers!

All four parts. Some guy from Kansas was parting out his TL and it was taking forever, so he started selling shit really cheap. He sold me the kit for like $350 and shipped it to me on a greyhound bus for $70. I guess I just got super lucky. I saw it on craigslist.
