This is killing me

I have been searching and searching but I keep hitting a stump to a simple questions. Where can I find a shift boot for the Manual CLS? Black leather with black stitching. I see a lot of universal ones but not sure if thats a good route. Any advice would be appreciated. Also, any hints for a shifter knob would be great too. I’ve been contemplating the TL shifter

You might consider having a leather/upholstery shop make you one. I'm sure it would not be that expensive.

Any suggestions to another knob? Looking for some leather in mine. Its too hot to get an all metal knob since my car spends a lot of time in the Florida sun.

Acura OEM parts does not list a part number for the boot so the above provided link or a local leather guy is what you got to work with. Have you tried calling the local Acura dealer and see if they have one? I would be surprised if a 04-08 TL boot would not fit

Used to be like $70. I wonder why they just jack up the prices for some CL items. Guess they're running out.

It is expensive because you cannot buy the boot seperate. It comes with the trim piece etc.

I don't have a pic of the NSX boot installed on my car because my car is gutted, but here is a pic attached to the trim piece. You probably would want a short shifter to use it.

Now tell me that isn't sexy

Thanks guys for all the answers. I tried getting the TL shift knob adapter before purchasing the knob and boot. Bought two from Hondaparts but the order got cancelled by the website. Still looking for a knob before boot purchase in order to determine correct size.

Brian6speed.. i’ve been checking out your thread of your built and when I came to the end I saw you weren’t going to post anymore. Glad to see you respond. PM me about the boot and bezel, maybe I can afford it
