1996 acura 2.5 TL Rims choice
Hi there guys,
I am new to acurazine and hoping to learn more from you guys.
I just bought myself a first generation 2.5 TL on April 18 2011 and was wondering if they have any deep dish rims (size) for my TL. You guys think you guys can help the brother out?

I just picked up a '97 2.5 TL and the selection is a little different for the 4-lugs that we roll on. I got some from Tirerack before and they've got some affordable wheels, and the Sport Editions I picked up before were pretty nice for the price. These are on sale for $89/wheel right now:
I am tempted to get them just because of the price, they've got a "not to wild-tuner look," and my previous positive experience with Tirerack's SE wheels. They aren't bad looking, or anything... just depends on your preference. I am actually looking for a simple, clean 5-spoke for mine, so I'll keep looking. Any Black Friday sales next weekend for wheels? hehe!

Sport Edition Wheels
Hey TLDavey,
Did you ever end up buying the A7 Sport Editions for your 97 2.5? I am seriously considering them and in the 17" size rather than the 15" stock. Tirerack has in their recommendations that a fender lip roll might be necessary - is this true?

I checked right before Christmas and then soon after that, and I had to pry myself away from that site and other aftermarket sites so I could save $$$ for my house purchase... So I never got them (yet) On the plus side... Yeehaaaw! My TL will have a garage of it's own, soon! Well, shared with my Ford Ranger, but I think they'll get along fine haha!
Let me know if you get them!

Hey cashmir316,
I checked the site again and the "rolling" of the fender is suggested for 8" width wheels... The SE A7s are 7.5" - Hmmm... Close enough you think? If I get around to asking my local tire place, I can ask them their opinion... Still on sale for $89.00/wheel!

Hey guys, I'm new here too. I just picked up a '96 2.5TL over winter break and I was wondering the same thing. I noticed the selection is a lot fewer for our 4 lugs, would it be worth it to convert to 5 lug?

That's Funny
I did the same with a set of Elbrus 102's a while back. They look nice too, but the A7's are nice and a bargain. Still can't decide.....
Here's what I would love my TL to look like with the wheels and Eibach Pro Kit 1.2" drop.

I did some research and the AXIS OLDSKOOL 15" RIMS are 15x8 and the bolt pattern is 4x100
While the stock rim size for the 2.5TL are 15x6 and the bolt pattern is 4x114.3 to be exact. Would 15x8's fit with a bolt pattern of 4x100?
