Installed some stobe lights in the gril today, these are 4 strobes w/ 3leds per stobe, and comes with a control box with 3 settings, I have another one comin in the mail, its 2 strobes with 2leds in each, will post pix of that too

Control box

Lights off

All on, I run them with oppsite cornrs flashing but this is jus fer show n tell rigt meow

Once I find out why I can't sign into youtube or make a new one I can upload some videos

All together both led strobe kits only cost me $18.71 shipping inc off ebay, and the grill one only tok about 30min to run all the wires n figure out where to snag some power

Figured id add some photos of the bitch

Dvd system I had put in (just took out today)

Some pix when I changed my timing belt, water pump, belt tensioner, crank seal, and cam seal
Ended up cracking part of the powersteering pulley tryin to take it off the crankshaft
Also the dutcover melted like a mutha from tourching the bolt lol

Traded my 17in niche rims for good ole stock 15in nissan 240sx rims lol
If ur wondering why it cuz the 17s sucked and were ugly
Plus one had a crack in it and leaked air

I do plan on repainting them very soon lol
Thinking of light blue, gunna paint some things on the car to match as well but ill leave that a supprise
More pix to come
Also installing the p.a. speaker this week

I see this a lot in Florida. My cousin introduced me to a crew that would buy marine speakers and install them in the grilles and behind the bumpers.

Update on some things
Replaced driver cv join(axle) whatever u wana call it
The old one was so bad u could grab it and shake it back n forth and listen to it clunk... lol

Also started painting some things on my car n decided a new theme ima go with
Blacked out is over done
So I'm goin with a cross country rally/ travel sedan look

Painting rims, mud flaps, n mirror skins ocean breeze blue (little accent colors w/out over doing it)
Also traded the useless dvd stuff for a thule roof rack, it currently has 2 thule bike rails, I'm lookin to get either a thule or yakima luggage basket like the yakima load warrior to throw some old suit cases n stuff on top
Mainly want it so I can't put a cooler on the roof, and what's in the cooler?
Compressor, air tank, plus train horn =]
Any way here's some pix

and this is why I love these forums, a lil flavor variety. nothing is worse than seeing the same ol thing repeated over and over.

I personally hate the roof rack look bc all these idiot hs kids think they are so freaking cool riding around with that shit on their car. I'm like at least put a damn skate board or something on it.

So since your putting a cooler with a train horn inside it, wish i could see this in person.

keep the photos coming, u should actually try to post up a video. that would be cool.

Sticker-bombing, fake/mismatched wheels, and unused bikeracks are what's wrong with the import scene nowadays.

Back in the day, we might've had crazy paint schemes, matching interiors, and ridiculous booths at shows, but colours matched, wheels were real and fit, and quality work was why people chose one shop over another.

~Cheers~

P.S. Good article from The Chronicles a friend sent me:

#1 I'm painting all the rims the same color and following through with that color, I just haven't had time to finish or update this page, I work 6days a week and my gf has a 5yr old so I prefer to spend my freetime on more important things

#2 yeah so what if their 240sx rims, the rims I had were messed up, I couldn't afford something else and this was the fisrt trade offered that would fit this damn car, so I took it and I'm at last tryin to do something with it, idk why they gotta be called fake when I straight up said their nissan rims, and I didn't slap a honda centercap on them to try to be fake

#3 no I didn't use the bike racks for their purpose, I dont even own a bike, its called an investment that worked,I traded the rails and fairinf for a basket like I wanted, and then sold it yesterday for $240, when I originally onl had $130 invested to get it

#4 "sticker bombed", please I have 3stickers on that p.o.s., 1 stating my car takes premium gas, which is a real #93 sticker for a gas pump I took brand new when I worked at circle k, showin some pride in this car, I have a falken sticker, and yes I do have falken tires on the 240rims, and I also have the kinetik power cell monster just cuz I like it,and I took off the advertisement part since I don't have anything kinetik in the car

#5 personally I think this car is a crap bucket... it gets mistaked for a camry all the time, as soon as u fix one thing something else fucks up, parts are over priced, and as soon as I can trade it for something else, trust me I will
I do love this car for some strange reason, but there are much better cars out there, id rather have my 99 dodge avenger back

#6 everyone has their own personal tastes, and u may not like the "clown" look of dfferent colored rims but I've gotten an assload of compliments on the car, from people of all ages
**this is why ur mother always says if u don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all**
If u didn't like my car, click the "back 1 page" on ur internet and stfu

Here it is with the basket (and no I didn't put the stickers on it, that's how I got it)
Already sold it a week after I got it

I don't plan on keeping this car much longer

Wow. Whats with the hate. This forum is supposed to be open to all styles, tastes and likes. If you don't like what he did with the car, I'm sure I cant find 10 people that appreciate where he is taking it.

Changed driver and pass cv joints, got alignment, all that's left to fix is radiator hoses, fuel pump, plug wires, and ac blower

Also panted pass mirror and mudflaps, hopefully finishing the rims Sunday if it don't rain...
Car was dirty in pix, it looks much better after a bath
You'll see after all rims are done
